technical Posted February 1, 2016 Posted February 1, 2016 I bought this blue item advertised as "Mini Pump Double Valve" on eBay http://www.ebay.com/itm/301854575416 It does not seem like a pump to me. It works like an actuated piston. Is the blue cylinder supposed to be a pump? Quote
syclone Posted February 1, 2016 Posted February 1, 2016 (edited) It is a small actuator. I believe it came in education sets Edited February 1, 2016 by LXF Quote
Zerobricks Posted February 1, 2016 Posted February 1, 2016 (edited) Yep, thats a small cylinder. Pump has only one output and is slightly longer. Edited February 1, 2016 by Zblj Quote
Milan Posted February 1, 2016 Posted February 1, 2016 Is the blue cylinder supposed to be a pump? No, it it small pneumatic cylinder, same as the yellow one in your picture, just transparent. Quote
M_longer Posted February 1, 2016 Posted February 1, 2016 You have bought small cylinders :) Pumps have single port: They come in three versions, one 5.5L and two 6L: http://alpha.bricklink.com/pages/clone/catalogitem.page?P=x191c01#T=C http://alpha.bricklink.com/pages/clone/catalogitem.page?P=99798c01#T=C http://alpha.bricklink.com/pages/clone/catalogitem.page?P=19482c01#T=C&C=7 Quote
andrewganschow Posted February 1, 2016 Posted February 1, 2016 I tell you what a 6L pump with double outputs would be cool, every stroke would be generating pressure. Oh dear lego gods please make this part come true. And I don't think that would be to hard to accomplish either, a check valve on output. Quote
technical Posted February 1, 2016 Author Posted February 1, 2016 Thanks everyone! The eBay listing was wrong. Quote

doug72 Posted February 2, 2016 Posted February 2, 2016 It would require Suction and discharge valves at both ends, I.e 4 valves in order to be double acting. Quote
