LegoEomer Posted February 2, 2016 Posted February 2, 2016 After the plans for the new city were finished, workers started construction. There was to be a canal to provide ships access to the city. However, first of all, the workers started construction on a road. Using Kaliphlinian techniques, they first laid hard packed earth. Next, they were going to lay gravel. Then they were going to lay crushed stones in cement. Finally, they would lay the top, the paving stones. The workers had only finished laying the earth. Other workers cleared the area of vegetation. The next step was to dig the canal. Like always, I hope you like it and comments are always appreciated. Quote
Angeli Posted February 2, 2016 Posted February 2, 2016 Rome wasn't built in a day :) for minifig workers, half of the job is done - terrain is leveled, now, they can build :) Quote
Lord Vladivus Posted February 2, 2016 Posted February 2, 2016 Nice start! Perhaps some more variation in terrain heights- some rocks etc. Quote
TitusV Posted February 2, 2016 Posted February 2, 2016 Nice start! Perhaps some more variation in terrain heights- some rocks etc. Same. But you're improving! Quote
soccerkid6 Posted February 5, 2016 Posted February 5, 2016 Fun to see the progression of your city Some guys laying down the cobble stone would be nice touch, unless you're planning to do that with another build Quote
