Ultron Posted February 2, 2016 Posted February 2, 2016 The promo fig for the game is honestly pretty lame...anyone could easily just remake it. Also, Phasma's head looks very smashed on the cover of that video game. Doesn't really look like her Lego helmet. Quote

Well it does have some detailed sand printing on the torso and legs making it exclusive... The Game itself looks very good. I'm glad we'll be getting some bonus levels which bridge the gap between RotJ and TFA. I think this will also be the first Star Wars game with the voices from the movie. DuckBricks Posted February 2, 2016 Posted February 2, 2016 (edited) Pretty excited for the game. I'm glad it seems to cover at least he OT as well judging by the young Han in sensor screenshot. Wonder if there will be any mention of the prequels... Also, just realized that the trailer on the Star Wars Youtube channel features the standard blue and white Resistance X-Wing, while the one on Lego's channel shows the black and orange ship... The Lego Nolan Posted February 2, 2016 Posted February 2, 2016 Was kind of hoping the promo fig would be Luke, but this version of Finn looks alright. Quote
SandMirror38 Posted February 2, 2016 Posted February 2, 2016 Was kind of hoping the promo fig would be Luke Same, would've been an instant pre-order for me. Will wait to see if there happens to possibly be anything different though Quote
CM4Sci Posted February 2, 2016 Posted February 2, 2016 Not seeing any PC preorders on here. . . Quote
gamejutzu Posted February 3, 2016 Posted February 3, 2016 (edited) This game looks amazing!! Most definitely the best looking lego game ever. man is the game gorgeous. These same visuals, have appeared in a lot of Lego game trailers. Lego Marvel Superheroes and Lego Batman 3 come to mind. Let's hope the actual game is that and not the typical TT stuff. It most likely is the typical TT stuff. Every game from LMSH to now has had it. I'm not counting on it. Why would they change all of a sudden? I personally despise the cutscene style they use for Lego games. It looks so... Untidy. Not only character animation, but the effects as well, like water splashes and snow drifts. Mandate Posted February 3, 2016 Posted February 3, 2016 >people see very clearly CGI images from a trailer >"the game's graphics are incredible!" >people see no gameplay footage >"it looks great" Personally I thought the trailer's humor was, for the most part, terrible and forced. Knowing TT Games the gameplay will have little or no changes from previous titles. Love the MGSV reference in the DLC tite, though. Quote
ChiefPie Posted February 3, 2016 Posted February 3, 2016 I can't wait for this game since last one was lego Star Wars III the clone wars which was fun! Quote
Ultron Posted February 3, 2016 Posted February 3, 2016 Well it does have some detailed sand printing on the torso and legs making it exclusive... Ah, yes. I forgot about the sand printing. Still lame compared to bonuses the Marvel and DC games have gotten. Quote
npgcole Posted February 4, 2016 Author Posted February 4, 2016 (edited) So, if there will be no DLC for the Wii U version (again ), then why is there a Nintendo Network logo in the cover's upper-right corner? What else would it be needed for? If it is for DLC (fingers crossed) then there's no reason why there can't be a deluxe edition for Wii U. Also there's an interesting article here about the "exclusive content" other than The Force Awakens levels. Some will be new stories, like how Han Solo got the rathtars (and it seems like these will be canon. They've even named new planets!), and others will be based on books and comics, like the upcoming one about how C-3PO got his red arm. (I'll bet that's what the PlayStation exclusive "Phantom Limb" level will be) http://www.gameinfor...ovies-lore.aspx Edited February 4, 2016 by npgcole Quote
BlueberryWaffles Posted February 4, 2016 Posted February 4, 2016 It's bad enough that the Wii U version won't get DLC, but they can't get Finn either? Now I have two options: buy the Special Edition, sell everything except the fig, and buy the Wii U version; or buy the fig by himself for ridiculous aftermarket prices and wait till the Wii U version hits $15 on Amazon like Lego Batman 3 did. Forresto Posted February 4, 2016 Posted February 4, 2016 I'm just glad it's going to be on PS3...yes I haven't forked over the four hundred for a next gen console. I'd rather spend that much money on Legos to be honest Quote
gamejutzu Posted February 4, 2016 Posted February 4, 2016 Legos I am, so sorry to be doing this to you, but did you know that even the Lego video games themselves pronounce the plural of Lego, "Lego"? I mean, i'm just spreading the word.... There seems to be that one picture that looks like gameplay footage... The one with BB-8 and the stormtroopers in the desert... I think that's footage anyway... It looks... Okay... Hope that is gameplay footage. Quote
refriedbeans Posted February 4, 2016 Posted February 4, 2016 ^ It is simply a common misconception no need to point it out. Quote
Marvelfan120 Posted February 4, 2016 Posted February 4, 2016 Wow. Interesting that they're doing this so fast... I expected them to wait for at least a little more content but I guess if they're bridging from the OT they should have plenty. Definitely a must buy for me. Quote
jedikitty Posted February 4, 2016 Posted February 4, 2016 So, if there will be no DLC for the Wii U version (again ), then why is there a Nintendo Network logo in the cover's upper-right corner? What else would it be needed for? If it is for DLC (fingers crossed) then there's no reason why there can't be a deluxe edition for Wii U. It wouldn't be because of Miiverse functionality, would it ? That's the only thing I can think of.. I really hope you're right and we'll find out more about the Wii U release later. I don't see why it needs to be left out of the extras - they don't seem to have anything to do with hardware capabilities, or whatever. I can sort of understand why 360 and PS3 would be left out as there's newer versions of those consoles, but right now Wii U is Nintendo's current one. Quote
The Lego Nolan Posted February 4, 2016 Posted February 4, 2016 I was thinking about the fact that the way that Finn is included in the deluxe edition there is a chance that there could still be a preorder fig that is seperate from Finn. Here's hoping it is Luke if I'm right. Quote
CM4Sci Posted February 6, 2016 Posted February 6, 2016 Looks like you can't preorder PC anywhere. . . Quote
ChiefPie Posted February 7, 2016 Posted February 7, 2016 Apparently the game will include the final duel in VI and the attack on the Death Star 2 and I think the battle on endor. Quote
Bycougars Posted February 8, 2016 Posted February 8, 2016 I was expecting them to wait until episode 9 but I guess we're getting one game per movie now. The later ones will likely include anthology films but since we don't have any yet we're getting 'exclusive content that bridges the gap between RoTJ and TFA'. Hopefully it's canon stuff like from the comics. I'm also guessing there will be some stuff based on Rebels. Even then, it seems like they won't have enough content to compare to more recent LEGO games. It appears that they might include RoTJ at least, based on one of those screenshots. Maybe they'll include a remake of the original trilogy as well? I really hope they are re-making or issuing as dlc the complete saga. It would be nice to be able to play episodes 1-7. 70$ for deluxe edition that has the game, dlc, and minifigure. Is that worth $70? I was thinking the same thing. Hopefully the dlc content is something substantial and not just a few extra characters and a level. Is there any chance that Lego surprises us with DLC for the complete saga? Quote
Stahoartl Posted February 8, 2016 Posted February 8, 2016 Hello everybody, I'm new here at eurobricks (or at least I'm new at posting ;) )! I just preordered the PS4 "Premium Edition" on Amazon Austria, which not only includes the Finn minifigure, but also 3 other models: Poe's X-Wing fighter, First Order Star destroyer and Kylo Ren's Command Shuttle! http://www.amazon.de/LEGO-Star-Wars-Erwachen-PlayStation/dp/B01B4GE2KM/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1454957758&sr=8-1&keywords=lego+star+wars+das+erwachen+der+macht In my opinion, that's an amazing package deal, I just had to post this! Greetings, fellow Lego gamers! Quote
ToaDraco Posted March 8, 2016 Posted March 8, 2016 So who else is hoping we get a playable Rancor bigfig? Maybe we could get a Wampa too. Also, I'm hoping we get a decent range of vehicles like a Jedi Interceptor and several others from across the the movies and shows. Quote

I think they said there's about 20 rideable/playable creatures in the game. Quote
