Hi all,

So I got the Medusa minifigure and decided to do a little vig to display her on. She was a little expensive but I think she is worth it :) I might do some more vigs or MOCs on Greek myths as they are some of my favorite stories.

Hope ya like it!

This elusive minifig is also one of my favourites but at these prices... Man, too many speculators these days! On the MOC side, this is plainly excellent! Also the base does match the show really well considering it is a difficult to use part.

Thanks, she was just over twice her original price so I guess I got a good deal. Speculation is a bummer, I just cant keep from opening all the sets I get so no profits for me :D

I was surprised to see only one comment here, then I noticed you just posted it hah :)

I really almost just want to copy it and put it on my desk for a while I like it so much, really a shame the fig is so pricey and I have none, in general I'm not willing to overpay too much for anything which may be the only remedy against these so called speculators (never heard of that word before as a non English speaker).

edit* oeh you were lucky, everywhere I look she's like four times the original price at minimum, in Euro at least.

This is a piece of art. The minimalistic design looks amazing.Congrats :)

This is great. The column and ruined architecture looks good and the circular base really works too.

I had no idea this one had gotten so expensive. Makes me glad that I picked her up when the series hit stores.

Really looks like one of those features you put in a fish tank as decoration. It's that good, atleast to me.

I really, really wanted the mini fig so I paid double the original price in an eBay auction, it seems that was a good deal as the price keeps going up for Medusa. I guess that's just capitalism in action.

This really works as a little display for my desk, I think it's because of the round base it makes it look like a proper ornament. Feel feel to copy it if you like :)

Thanks and welcome to Euro Bricks :D

Thank you. I wish I had some more of the earlier CMF series, you are lucky if you did pick them up at launch as they can be very expensive to get these days.

LOL XD

It would be cool to do one with Poseidon, I think he was a CMF too.

A really neat build!

Cool moc!

Thanks Graham.

Cool moc!

Thank you.

Very nice MOC, I am a dedicated fan of Greek Mythology. And of course this lovely minifig is one of my favourite that's why I was unable to stop hunting until I collected ten pieces of it.

Fantastic in every sense! Among the best MOCs I've seen in a long time. If I can recommend one small change, it would be to give Medusa a quiver.

I wish TLG did a Greek mythology range. Given the number of mythological CMFs, I doubt they will anytime soon however.

I'm lucky that I've been collecting minifigs for over 20 years and got the CMFs I wanted when they came out. I feel sorry for newcomers who have to rely on the secondary market to get cool minifigs of the past.

10 of them! Wow! now that is impressive. I thought buying one was a little expensive XD I would love to get the Minotaur and the Ocean King too.

Thanks, that's a great idea, I don't actually have a quiver. I will check them out on Brick Link and Brick Owl.

I am very jealous of people with all the CMFs.

I bought my pack of Medusas when the series was on general sale at every toy stores so I collected them on normal rate. Fortunately the tail piece was so big that it was easy to find them in the box even without touching the bags :-)

The Minotaur and the Ocean King come nowhere near the Medusa :-)
