samiam391 Posted February 14, 2016 Posted February 14, 2016 (edited) I lacked the Gondor/Orc minifigures for this scene, however I believe the modified soldiers to be an adequate replacement. Small build I whipped up to represent the tragic "Fall of Osgiliath". I hope to do something more complex when I have more bricks... currently, my piece collection is quite small! don leopold Posted February 14, 2016 Posted February 14, 2016 Great battle, the ruins looks good with the half rond tower!! Quote
Balbo Posted February 14, 2016 Posted February 14, 2016 Very nice work . I love the posing of the minifigures and the ruins Quote
Staslegomaster Posted February 14, 2016 Posted February 14, 2016 You call that diarama a small collection of bricks?!! Quote
J bij de W Posted February 14, 2016 Posted February 14, 2016 (edited) Nicely done! Edited February 14, 2016 by J bij de W Quote
Missing Brick Posted February 14, 2016 Posted February 14, 2016 Nice. Seeing a moc like this always makes we wish TLG had produced some knights of Gondor and some decent moria orcs. Improvement suggestion would be to have the action at 45° to the xy plane of the studs - to make it more natural looking . Also to breakup the regularity of the studs with some random slopes and tiling on the ruins. Quote
Forresto Posted February 14, 2016 Posted February 14, 2016 Wow great chaotic scene! It is rather unfortunate that TLG never gave us proper Gondorians but you make good use of the Rohirrim! Quote
Lindulan Posted February 15, 2016 Posted February 15, 2016 Very impressive! You've done a good job capturing the chaos of the scene, and the ruins are beautiful. Thanks for sharing! Quote
bricklover Posted February 15, 2016 Posted February 15, 2016 Small scene? That's big! Love all the action! You should make a Helm's Deep! Quote

LegoPercyJ Posted February 17, 2016 Posted February 17, 2016 The crumbling stone work is superb, ans I like the spread of clear among the trans-blue 1x1 elements. Great Work! Quote
Gutterman1000 Posted February 21, 2016 Posted February 21, 2016 That is absolutely one of the best creations I've ever seen. I love how've you've used the transparent red to depict. For not having a lot of pieces, you've certainly done a fantastic job with what you do have Quote
Devizz Posted February 23, 2016 Posted February 23, 2016 (edited) The water effect is sick, good thinking. Only thing I dislike about this set is the use of uruks instead of mordor orcs. :P The latter are much harder to get in big numbers I suppose. Edited February 23, 2016 by Devizz Quote
