Hi guys, I start this new topic to show you my caterpillar truck in his final form.

It took me about five months to finish it!

It's powered by one BB, two XL motors and one m motor for steering. The frame is based on Ingmar's mack granite frame but only the rear part. I've changed the front because off the hood's attaches that limits me. The cab, Hood and bumper are all removable.

Good job! Having looked at pics on google, I think the nose needs to be a little bit sloped down. But this is no easy task, as it is a very curvy truck.

Well done for sticking with it for 5 months! :thumbup:

5 months is way past my attention span! Having looked at pictures of the real truck, I think you've done a good job. Well done.

Is it a spare wheel on the drivers side?

Doc_Brown, if you watch some others photos you will see that some Hoods are less curved.

And yes Oliver, it is a spare Wheel!

Hi, after two month I have practically finish the cab of my truck. I've change the older frame for a better one.

The motors are placed closer to the rear axles for better torque.
