Technivor Posted February 16, 2016 Posted February 16, 2016 Hi guys, I start this new topic to show you my caterpillar truck in his final form. It took me about five months to finish it! It's powered by one BB, two XL motors and one m motor for steering. The frame is based on Ingmar's mack granite frame but only the rear part. I've changed the front because off the hood's attaches that limits me. The cab, Hood and bumper are all removable. Here's some photos of the truck: Thanks for reading! Do not hesitate to comment! Smurfs Posted February 16, 2016 Posted February 16, 2016 Excellent!!!! I have been waiting for an International truck (CAT will work). Awesome job. Quote
Doc_Brown Posted February 17, 2016 Posted February 17, 2016 Good job! Having looked at pics on google, I think the nose needs to be a little bit sloped down. But this is no easy task, as it is a very curvy truck. Well done for sticking with it for 5 months! Quote
Oliver 79 Posted February 17, 2016 Posted February 17, 2016 (edited) 5 months is way past my attention span! Having looked at pictures of the real truck, I think you've done a good job. Well done. Is it a spare wheel on the drivers side? Edited February 17, 2016 by Oliver 79 Quote
Technivor Posted February 17, 2016 Author Posted February 17, 2016 (edited) Doc_Brown, if you watch some others photos you will see that some Hoods are less curved. And yes Oliver, it is a spare Wheel! Edited February 17, 2016 by Technivor Quote
