That's called cherry picking referring to LOTR or even considering HP castle-ish, whereas tons of castle/fantasy themes are obviously yellow.

Maybe, but it's not a Medieval / Castle theme.  It takes place in the modern day, and as a LEGO theme there isn't a lot that carries over.

Yeah, I think I maybe got them in the Dumbledore's Office or Chamber of Secrets sets a long long time ago.

For those who are yet unaware of it: loads of Elves parts, new for 2017, have become available on Bricks & Pieces. I grabbed a few of those awesome goblin king shields.

It's usually been May for when the new sets come out in Europe; and August for when the new sets come out in other parts of the world. [Based on the way it's been the last few years]

Elves in May/June? Last year they were available online in July, and in retail stores in August?

I meant for Western Europe it seemed like the Summer Sets come out in Late May/Early June; and August has been when they finally come out in the USA.   Hopefully we'll see them coming out soon.

according to the june 2017 store calendar for american lego stores, it mentions the elves sets will be out in june, just like the star wars, city, lego batman movie, creator, and more.

Thanks Lyichir those sets look great.  So many useful parts and new colors for several parts.  I especially love the red bamboo leaves.  I will be trying to get all of these.

Wow, the summer sets are already showing up on the Lego Shop at Home site (for Canada anyways). I guess they really are coming out in June this year.

I like the shadow raven of the castle.

Please comment if you've noticed any other new parts or if I've posted anything incorrect.
Hope this is helpful or interesting to anyone.

Hopefully 41189 will include another new character, or at least a new minidoll design. I haven't followed the series, so I wouldn't be aware of any possibilities. Just one new character in the summer sets is a little disappointing, though the spring sets were great.
