According to the Reddit thread you found it on, it was a Facebook ad.

Old Lance was much better.  Good find, though!

I guess if you're into the trans neon orange, you'd like it better.  I prefer the old style.  Looked a bit more like a character out of the Castle theme, whereas now he looks like he's from a Space theme.

Still bitter about this not being a traditional castle theme I see. 

I like it because it reminds me of Ice Planet, otherwise the 2016 was very nice.

Not exactly.  But I prefer minifigures from any theme that fit well into the traditional Castle aesthetic as I see it, or have parts that are useful to me in those situations.  For instance, I like the Hawkeye design from Marvel sets, and I like the Phasma design from Star Wars.  Both will work well within my world (or at least, parts of them will work well).  Heck, I even have several Ash Attacker torsos and legs from Nexo Knights.  This version of Lance offers me nothing, whereas the last version offered me a nice visor, so I prefer the last version.  Simple as that.

It definitely has that Ice Planet, science fiction feel.

Ice planet- like visors <3 The armor looks great too - looks like it could easily be used as techno armor for space and magical armor for fantasy!

New Jestro looks much more weird than original. Torso design is similar, but these lightning highlights make it look like he's possessed. 

I like this new Jestro but not as much as the old one. If the yellow was gold and they gave him dark blue skin I think I would be much happier.

Since his arms and one leg are the same color as his head, does that mean he's sleeveless and missing half of his pants? Kind of odd if you ask me.

Even though I like Ice Planet, the new Nexo Knights armours do not give me that vibe... it is looks sharp and edgy but nothing "icy" on them except Lance because he's predominantly coloured white. Having said that, I welcome the new trans-orange/neon orange visors.

That new Jestro figure looks fantastic.  The lightning print on the torso and legs are really cool.  Cant wait to see the rest of the figs and the sets.

Thought it was just a rehash of the series 12 jester hat, but the balls on side aren't gold. They have the opposite colors on both sides. Also, the purple and orange-yellow sides are switched from the series 12 jester hat.
