Oooh, so the old Monsters aren't completely forgotten?
Good to hear honestly, Lavaria and Whipperella were my favorite monsters from the first year.

In Knighton Castle I think one of the minifigures is an electrified version of flama from the first wave! I have to admit this looks to be some of the best sets for nexo knights so far!

It looks like a placeholder to me, I don't see a figure that looks like that in the actual scene. I hope you're right, though.

The castle could have been better, IMO

There is something there in that set. It looks like a mech? e.e Not sure.

Could it be a giant brick built scurrier, but it's orange/red. And these monsters are purple/light blue. So, it doesn't make sense. Maybe a battle suit for the King?

I would like to see better pics of the Stone Colossus of Ultimate Destruction. But I'm not sure if I like what I'm seeing.

From what I can tell, it might be a battle suit for Merlok 2.0. I can make out a wizard's hat.

Not a parts list, but it has the instructions and you can at least see the parts. I never had a motorcycle built like this before. Interesting honeycomb tires.

"Rider blockade"? I guess that sounds about right. I assumed one side was to hold the jousting lance and wondered what the orange clicking clip was for.

It can also be clipped to the back of a Battle Suit.

Interesting. Do a lot of Nexo Knights sets do that? I only have Clay Battle Suit and Knighton Rider.

I think nearly every good guy set this year has something that can combine with the Battle Suits, even with Lance vs Lightning the horse body can be swapped out for the legs.

Sound it out.

Harpies (hahr-peez)

I would assume they would show up in some set here or there, as they seem to be quite prominent in the show.

There are some Harpies in the TV show. I would love to get them, but so far many of the characters from the show (Stone Scurriers, Harpies, Bley colored stone knights, Stone Stompers with Ash Attacker helmets) have not been made. At this point, I worried that we somehow won't get General Garg, as even he doesn't show up in the prelims. :look:

The summer wave looks to be spamming us with Stone Stompers, that's for sure. The only new villain I could spot was the one riding on a Grimroc in Aaron's Rock Climber.

All battle suits can combine with:

  • Lance's Twin Jouster
  • Lance vs. Lightning
  • Aaron's Stone Destroyer
  • Clay's Falcon Blaster Fighter
  • Axl's Rumble Maker
  • Aaron's Rock Climber
  • Macy's Bot Drop Dragon

It might be smart to assume that something from the Heligoyle, The Stone Colossus of Ultimate Destruction, and Knighton Castle will have some sort of combining function should all sets prove to have a Knight-side vehicle that would be sizable enough.

Always look at preliminaries with the idea that all minifigs are placeholders.

Of course nothing is stopping Lego from pulling a Whipparella with the Harpies and making her exclusive to a set.

I would expect at least one harpy to possibly appear in the Bot Drop Dragon and/or Heligoyle, considering that flying foes are often paired with flying vehicles.

These sets look good from what I can see of them, but I can't make a full judgement until I've seen bigger, better pics. Toy Fair can't come soon enough!

Yes. They can also combine with the 30376 polybag!

Axl's Rumble Maker is the only unconfirmed combo at this point, i think. But i'm sure it will combine.

Although that works (albeit perhaps a bit ugly, seeing as the hinge/slop combo on the back of the battle suits don't allow them to fit in that perfectly angled hole on each side of 30376), that's not it's original intention...

If you have multiples of them, they are designed to be connected together to form a mobile blockade.

I'm also not entirely sure what to think of these sets yet. The giant rock monster looks neato, though I'm certain it will be a bit too pricey for my liking, while the pictures of the smaller sets are a bit too small for me to decide how much I like them (they look promising though).

Anyway, I finally managed to write the first of the three reviews I had planned, and it is - as promised - the Shrunken Headquarters.

No, that's just an added benefit of the combiner system; Clips can hold onto click hinge pieces.
If they were only suppose to connect together, they'd only need a bar handle instead.

If that's the case, than I guess 30376 can't combine with another copy of itself, or a Battle Suit then (start at 2:29. It looks more a coincidence than a feature).

No, it's an intended feature, Lego has been using that type of connection for a lot of recombination gimmicks as of recent; One clip-bar and one clip-female clicky hinge next to each other to create a hold that's stable but doesn't require a huge amount of force to pull apart.
Same idea with the Technic Pin and Axle version.

Seeing as I haven't had the joy of putting two together, I feel as if I absolutely need another.
