Whatever they are, I assume that they will continue to include additional Nexo Powers/Shields as this was the primary focus/theme of the ultimate sets. I guess it's just a matter of how they are going to deliver that in a way that is different enough from the Ultimate sets so that the new sets sell. My guess is that they are some sort of vehicle that comes with different powers/shields and weapons/accessories that go with the shield. Each shield would power up/equip the vehicle in a different way. The Ultimate's were all quite similar to one another in terms of having the base as a common build element. I think what you will see here are distinct set/builds for each knight. Pehaps a bike/buggy, a tank, an air vehicle and some kind of walker/mech. The builds would have to be very simple though if they want to keep the piece count and price in line with the Ultimate's.

Hopefully we get some additional set details soon. The retailer catalog should be out in the wild by now, no?

Ninjago spinners were actually very successful... Speedorz, not so much. Not sure about Ultimates...

The Speedorz sold so poorly they cancelled the last wave of them. Not going to try that again.

Each knight already has a vehicle, and most of them are small. Mechs would make more sense.

If we were indeed getting action figures, I would consider it more likely that they'd contain regular Nexo Power shields, but instead of being used on the shields themselves, they'd be used on the knights' armor (where the minifigure versions normally have their animal heraldry).

Man, that gets me thinking—I certainly wouldn't mind if the "action" sets are like the Legend Beasts from Chima's second year. Heck, with the presumably robotic animals that would fit in the Nexo Knights theme, it'd have the potential for even stronger set designs.
