It really looks that way, their faces look like a bunch of snake bodies and the armored one has offset fangs. The Medusa one has a bunch of tails on its torso.. on a side-note, I love that snake axe

 

New image of Jays outfit just appeared and it's another awesome costume for him! Highly detailed and great color combination. Hope other Ninjas costume will follow soon.

Wow! That Jay is amazing! It definitely gives me a samurai vibe. Well, the RXL looks great too! I'm loving the looks of the minifigures so far.

Exactly. The figs look great.  I really like the printing on the heads of the vermillion and the ninja outfits look excellent too.

Jay looks fantastic! I wish he came with a cool samurai helmet...

Those dual-moulded snake blades look awesome, they give me a bit of a LU Paradox Faction vibe actually. I wonder what the clock-like thing is at the bottom of the Vermillion torso.

According to rumors orange one might be Overlords new body.

Doubt it. Aside from the color, there's really nothing that significant that sets him apart from the other figures. A main villain has to stand out from the generic clones that support him.

In the largest set of the wave, Dragon Forge, there is a gold-plated Vermillion. Maybe that gold signified the Overlord? I don't know, I'm still of the fence with the Overlord returning.

It's weird to me that they would make a red one and an orange one and give them different headgear. It'll probably make more sense to me when the sets come out. Like the orange guy'll be the vermilion equivalent to Cryptor or something.

Just to Clarify, Tommy said the Overlord might return, not that he would. I wouldn't be opposed however.

That aside, i love the minifigures that Ive seen so far. the vermillion look nasty but in a good way and the ninja... ...beautiful. I really hope these come out in January so I won't  have to wait for March. The Forge still intregues me the most and I hope we get set pictures soon. I am interested in the weapons this year too.

I think the weapons are called like that,they looked like hands to me in the prelims.
