So, there 2 Movie Maker sets?

One with Jay and other with Kai?

It appears so, it looks as if the Kai one is larger probably more expensive too.

Lloyd will probably be the one to get a smart car as the main characters are the ones to get one e.g. Emmet, Batman and now Lloyd.

I have to say that I'm very impressed with both main line of sets and Collectible Minifigures (with Lloyd in hoodie and Octopus guy being my favourites).

I was in the lego store today and rummaging through the build your own minifigure section when I noticed something interesting kai's red torso piece from ninjago rebooted I of course then quickly built a makeshift figure to buy it

I will be getting the ninjago city set in around November probably as I will have £200 in vouchers to spend at smyths toy store and my local one always gets the massive sets so likely they will have it and if they do it will on cost me a further £60

No, they wont have it. Ninjago city is a direct to consumer set meaning that only lego stores will sell it.

Smyths does stock D2C sets, I bought the Temple of Airjitzu from there.

I've been looking around and can't find it. Does a thread exist for discussing the upcoming Ninjago CMF line?

I guess most of that has been (and will be) done here, and in the review thread, once that's up.

If that's the case, the Target DCPI number is 204-00-1379 for those who want to use Brickseek. Keep in mind that it's the same number for all CMF bags. So check Brickseek and then call ahead to see if they have the Ninjago line. I expect we'll start seeing them within 2 weeks. If anyone figures out the SKU for Walmart please let me know.

Pretty sure it's august.

I'm genuinely surprised one of the sets isn't called "Garmageddon", but maybe that wouldn't work...I'll hold out for that being the name of Garmadon's plan in the movie then.
