Now hopefully it comes with their hair. I can't wait for this to hit stores.

Also regarding prices. I didn't know that it was referring to GBP. Pretty sure the value of GBP has been in flux due to recent current events, and Lego is adjusting prices to reflect that.

The owner of the account said both Skylor and Ash both come with hair.

On Brickset, there is a press release from Lego for NYTF.  It breaks down the sets that they are releasing for each theme.  I.E.  Nexo Knights gets 19 sets, etc.  For Ninjago, they mention that there will be 7 sets based on the TV series.   But when it comes to the Ninjago movie, this is all they had to say in the release:

Premiering in September 2017, The LEGO® NINJAGO Movie will bring the beloved ninja to the silver screen – and starting in August–new building sets based on scenes from the movie will be available.

Notice the lack of the number of sets.  Also, many themes get price ranges for their sets.  TLBM did.  It's strange that Lego went into specifics with all the other themes except the Ninjago movie.   I hate to say this, but I think that they might not show any movie sets at Toy Fair, which would be such a weird move on TLG's part and a bummer for those of us who were hoping to see the sets.  I sure hope I'm wrong.

How nice of them to make such a fantastic battle pack. Definitely getting it, I like Ash's weapons.

On the topic of movie sets, it sounds like it's going to be a while before something pops up. Unless..

Finally TLG decided to make an accessory pack without mixing different minifigures from different seasons or story arc. I will get this one 'coz I like the print of Ash.  and I hope they went 1 step further by putting the hair of Ash as well. Someone "spotted" Skylor's hair from one of the pictures. I hope it does include the hairpiece.

Is there such thing as a ninja hood mask that doesn't extend too far down in the front and interfere with armor that covers the chest?

The only bigger armor I've seen that might accommodate a normal ninja mask is 19047 or 15831, but they are out of stock.

*SCREAMS*

But now back to being no longer content, because I still want Jakob, Bolobo, Gravis, Camille, and Neuro.

Right!? I was reading an interview saying that the designers wanted to make them all in the future.

On a side now, I'm nit a huge fan of Skylors lip print they look big. Also, her hair is too red and not Auburn.

But I'm glad to have a new suit. I'm just being picky. Despite those two things, I am very happy to see Ash and Shade finally make a physical appearance!!

OMG! What a treat! :wub_drool:

Ash is probably one of my top 5 Ninjago figs ever released, he is superb! Thank our Ninjago marketing overlords! :angel_sing:

Its a press-release so primarily it will discuss information from the past and tease future information. We did not really get much specific information on any future releases, only numbers for what was officially revealed already.

TLBM sets are all revealed now so the 18 sets that the theme is going to get is old news, not new. In a similar case it misses information we already know about, the three GOTG Vol 2 sets that have been released at this stage are not given a specific number.

It is also partially related to phrasing. While certain themes and specific things are mentioned, such as The Ninjago Movie, its not stating that we'll see them 'later this year' - which i feel it would do if they did not plan on revealing the set.

For example the Wonder Woman movie set is unlikely to be revealed given we know it contains spoilers and the Justice League sets are in the same situation, as such they stated 'later this year' and 'tied to the theatrical releases'
"Additional sets tied to theatrical releases of the highly-anticipated Wonder Woman and Justice League feature films will be revealed later this year for children to build exciting scenes form the big screen"

I'm just glad that they made an accessory pack for the EMs. It's nice to see Skylor's new suit got made into a minifigure, and she finally get a hair piece! In the meantime, I really hope that they'll make the rest of them into minifigures!

I'm correct in saying that all we're missing now is Jakob, Bolobo, Neuro, Gravis, and Camille, right?

I also wouldn't count Lar as he was a one-time shoe-in to hide the fact that Nya was the ninja of water before it was common knowledge.

Good news: the sets are there!

Bad news: no pics allowed...

What's the point of showing the sets then?

Hopefully we'll catch a glimpse of them in the background or something - otherwise this NYTF is a complete waste - all we'll get is descriptions. Best we can hope for is someone drawing them.

I'm hoping that at least one set ( the biggest one ) will get revealed in those mysterious boxes. Cuz it honestly will be a total waste of they don't promote the movie in this toy fair.

Hopefully they'll show a glimpse of one of the more iconic potential sets, the Garmadon Shark or Lloyd's Dragon.

Otherwise we'll have virtually nothing to discuss for months because set descriptions will probably be as expected (The mechs and Garmadon's shark)

When will be the next chance to see these given the NYTF photo policy?

What if someone there was to describe what they saw??

Depends on the level of detail; Prices, figures, names, scale, piece counts - all these would be helpful. I'm just not expecting a detailed analysis of every set - considering we didnt get a detailed analysis of other non-photograph sets.

BZPower have just confirmed the Lloyd's Dragon as a set (Then the tweet went unavailable, but still)

The hoods for the LEGO Ninjago Movie seem like they are specially designed not to hang down over the torso, probably so they can rotate more easily.

That battle pack is awesome! I was expecting to see Skylor's new costume as a physical minifigure eventually, but totally wasn't expecting to see it in a set with two other Elemental Masters!

Do you know which set the dragon is in??? My guess is Dragons cove.

Also that same guy just confirmed that there was no shark. Can't say I'm suprised or that I care too much but I'm not sure of how many sets were on display.
