It sounds like we might not get Cole's uniwheel mech in this wave, but I wonder if it will be scaled down like the others so far.

It was for me the most striking of all the ninja vehicles, and I liked the usage of the new Technic tractor tire (part no. 23798). But if will be presumably scaled down, it might not use it, maybe.

We won't get it in the First Wave.

Nice to see Sandy's helmet being used. It has been used and printed on in solid colors for globes more recently, but not for minifigures outside of Sandy from SpongeBob.

Those weapons are actually the really cool human-sized ones!

I have to say that I am absurdly interested in those and I don't know why. I think a part of me fantasizes about every part of my life being reducible to Lego, but at the same time I kind of know that if I had any of these I probably wouldn't be able to make much use of them except at conventions, and only briefly then. :P

Still, they look to be a step up from your typical foam play weapons in terms of accuracy. So that's pretty cool.

Wow the this wave looks incredible! I absolutely love Loyd's mech dragon, that'll be a must-have for me and fortunately it comes with the best version of Garmadon too! Overall, they really knocked it out of the park. The Temple of the Ultimate Weapon is a really great set as well and I love those lion statues coming to life, they're pretty decently sized as well. Jay's Jet looks pretty great and I love all the little details on it. Nia's Water Skimmer is pretty cool and a unique idea for a water based vehicle. I was initially disappointed by the choice of villains but now that that has worn off I can appreciate the cool figures we're getting. Destiny's Bounty, just wow that thing is a masterpiece. Man this summer is going to be very cruel to my wallet between the Marvel movie sets, the Star Wars wave, not even including whatever the movie sets are going to be, and the Ninjago movie. So many great sets!

Is the chain piece for Jay's weapon new? The top of the chain stud looks slanted, and it kind of looks like there are less loose chains than the usual small chain piece (only three; is it usually 3?). And the part where the stud meets the chain has this rectangle-ish imprint on it's side. And the actual bar piece the chain is attached to looks different as well. The top of it has metal coating or something.

The weapons are really cool, except they are very undersized. If you click on the weapons on the link below, it shows that they are really small. Kais sword is only 19 inches, Lloyds sword is 22 inches, the handle for Jays weapon is 9 inches, Nyas spear is 25.5 inches. Coles hammer is 18.5 inches, and Zanes bow and arrow is 14.75 x 12 inches.

You can see all of the LEGO Ninjago Movie costumes and weapons here

Wow, I love that new sword! I also like how the tassel piece is added on to the end of some weapons. Is that a new bow and arrow mold? Seems a bit weird to mold a new one but not make any big changes.

That sword is great! Hopefully they'll include a spare like they do with standard katana.

Delta customs posted a picture of one of the villains with a angler fish head peice. I looked at the pictures of the sets and realized that this peice doesn't appear in any of the non retail exclusive sets so my guess is either cmf or a exclusive set

Wrong thread I think?

Any one notice how in Jay's Lightning Jet, Crusty is shown in the minifigure lineup but a shark is shown in the box art instead of him?

I noticed an angler fish, not a shark. Remember, the images we saw were not final renditions (for example, Nya's spear had a gold tassle instead of a grey/silver one)- they were prelims that we were not meant to see.

Oh, sorry
