Much to love here, the roofs are superb (I love those plants on the roof), but the road definitely stands out and was worth the pain building it.

Thanks! No roof of that sort would be complete without a plant!

Time? What time.

Oh and that road Ouch... Did you die. It sure would kill me if I were to do it.

This was for the BrickStory competition, so I had a deadline!

Not quite dead, yet, but I don't plan on trying it again for quite a while, at least not at such a large size!

This looks amazing!

Congratulations for this stunning MOC :classic:

How many 1x1 round tiles did you use on this? :look:

Of course I didn't count them exactly, but I imagine it was about a PAB cup worth!

Thanks!

Wow......that is seriously impressive.

Thanks Andrew!

So many superb details! You say "colossal pain", Id say "colossal patience". Way to go. As for the Roman eagle, it should be either grey or golden. I guess there are such wings in series 15. The rest of the MOC is just a super diarama.

Wow, great road technique !!!

You must be very patient to do this job for 7-10 hours !!!

The total picture is very nice too.

Excellent build Kai, awesome well, and very nice buildings, but the road certainly does steal the show! Great job with the photography as well, and I do like the background on that first pic

Thanks everyone for all the comments! I really appreciate it!

Golden would be perfect - unfortunately I don't have those wings (yet at least) - nor grey either.

Thanks!

Mindblowing ...the whole scene looks simply perfect!

I really love the skilfull way you have made the street floor!

Thank you!

Amazing job Kai... Superb technique.... Lovely npu around!

Thanks Gunman!

Incredible build! That road is very innovative and the buildings are lovely :classic:

Good job creating a busy atmosphere with the figures also!

Thanks Gideon! I was presently surprised with how many figures I managed to construct that fit the time period - it would have been nice to have a few more togas but on the whole it was easier to populate the streets than I had anticipated!

Look´s great. That floor technique, I can only imagine how much of a pita it must have been making.

Im so curious as to what the white building looks like.

Anyhow a lovely display with some nice touches.

Well done ! :classic:

 Nice diorama.

The buildings look really good in detail and shape of the buildings is great.

I can imagine that it took some time with the 1x1 round tiles, but the result is excellent.

Judging by your creation, you've got a lot of creative NRG. And judging by your nick, you're a ninjago fan. So I hope your next historic creation will be about ninja.

 I've actually been wanting to do a Ninjago themed MOC for a long time... but it keeps getting pushed back...

Thanks!

That floor is so detailed and it looks amazing.

Thank you!

I'm afraid what you see is about all you'll get of the white building... it was less than photographically presentable from certain angles!

WOW this just amazing. That road though

Thank you!

You have neither golden nor grey wings for your eagle yet. I guess there is or was a 8 by 8 contest here and one can win a mini figure of series 15. Try your luck!

Yep, I plan on entering!

Wow! It looks very cool! I especially like the roads!

Thank you!

Nice details! Great build.

Thanks!
