I remember getting three Star Wars LEGO sets at once and they were, Mini Tie fighter and x-wing, TIE Fighter, T-16 Skyhopper. I still have all of them today.

How could this thread ever die???

But while I'm still here, 7259 ARC-170 Fighter was my first Star Wars set, taking me out of my Dark Ages and into Star Wars. Those were exciting times.

Mine was the same. Actually, I believe I owned SW minifigs before any SW set.

In fact, it's been a while since I last bought a SW set (2009), and I only own 13 SW sets. I can't say that the set sparked a whole new era of my life... But still, it was my first SW set. :classic:

7171 was my first set, got it for my 11th Birthday after seeing Episode 1!

Then had several more sets over the following years.

i got most if not all of the early star wars stuff released after episode 1, i also got the collectors darth vader tie fighter and the big X wing. all the pod racer sets and the large figures along with the mindstorms R2D2 and the yoda statue thing. in the end the amount of new lego coming out made it too expensive to get everything ans i also collected town and train stuff back then too.

My first was 8129, which I got because my 3 year old son insisted he would settle for nothing else at the LEGO Store in the Mall of America. I guess I've rebuilt it for him about 4 times in the last 6 months...

My first set was 7101, which I bought whilst still at university. This thread led me to to look at what other ones I bought that year, and I can't believe the prices of the sets now, especially 7171. I still have an unopened one of these somewhere, which I'll now be checking on to make sure it's safe and secure... thanks to this post.

Such along time ago but my first star wars set was 7110 the landspeeder I built it in only 10 minutes and thats how it all began great times.
