Matn Posted November 6, 2007 Posted November 6, 2007 I CAN'T REMEMBER IT! It was one of these three beaties: Rebuilding them after I sorted my LEGO. :( Quote

jedikermit Posted November 7, 2007 Posted November 7, 2007 That was mine. I actually thought if I just got that one set, I'd be satisfied. Yeeeeeah right. Quote
zz-80 Posted November 7, 2007 Posted November 7, 2007 (edited) Same here - closely followed by every other set in the first wave.Dr. S. Unfortunately not for me. 1999 was just a small step out of the dark ages. The only set I bought besides the Speederbikes was the Snowspeeder... the next set I bought was the Millenium Falcon 450? in 2005! Missed a few great sets... :-( but then I bought everything - even got my hands on the old rereleases like Y-Wing vs. Tie Fighter. :-D Edited November 7, 2007 by zz-80 Quote
simonjedi Posted November 7, 2007 Posted November 7, 2007 still have no idea what that cart thing is 8-| Quote
Vader Posted November 7, 2007 Posted November 7, 2007 still have no idea what that cart thing is 8-| I think it was supposed to go under the fighter so you could move it, to be honest it was pointless. :-/ Quote
iamded Posted November 8, 2007 Posted November 8, 2007 Naboo Swamp I spent ages playing with that set, my first lightsaber, droids and... Jar-jar... X-D ~Peace Quote
Captain Green Hair Posted November 8, 2007 Posted November 8, 2007 The first isseud X-Wing, just had to have that! *wub* Quote
Corvus Posted November 8, 2007 Posted November 8, 2007 I'm not sure what mine was... It was either the N-1, or the Imperial Shuttle. Maybe I need to go digging through my instructions box to find the most wrinkled SW booklet yet. :-D Quote
Big Pete Posted November 8, 2007 Posted November 8, 2007 my first set was the original X-Wing ... closely followed by the Landspeeder and then the Y-Wing / Tie Advanced to give the X-Wing something to fight against ;) Quote
Brickmaster Posted November 8, 2007 Posted November 8, 2007 My very first was the first original A-wing fighter Quote
Morten Posted November 9, 2007 Posted November 9, 2007 First Star Wars set i bought was the first X-wing fighter, a few weeks after the release. That was the first LEGO set i had bought for 15 years, and that started a very expensive abuse, still going on! That was just so cool sitting at the table building LEGO, for the first time in many years.! Morten Quote
Zzz Posted November 9, 2007 Posted November 9, 2007 also for me it was: too sweet... *wub* and it was not only my first sw set but my first lego in a lot of years... dark age off! :-) Quote

jamie75 Posted November 17, 2007 Posted November 17, 2007 Well, I remember I went in to Meijer's. I had just got my income tax refund check and was looking to spend it. I walked to the toy dept. and there they were. All 5 original sets, Landspeeder, Speeder Bikes, Snowspeeder, X-Wing, Y-Wing and Vader's TIE. I bought one of each. Now, which one I built first, I don't recall! Jamie Quote
Tanotrooper Posted November 23, 2007 Posted November 23, 2007 I remember well... I had been to disneyland paris a few months before, and fell in love with star wars. (age 6/7) I went to the toy shop around Easter to choose something to buy and then I saw it... Star Wars sets! I looked at the landspeeder box for 2 minutes long and looked around for other sets and there it was: halleluja! I saw the *vader* minifig... and wanted it right away! I got it that Easter. Having only seen episode V, I didnt know what the tie advanced was, but by simply switching the wings position, you could make a simple Tie fighter, and removing the main plate, you had a tie interceptor! Very great comic too! A few months later, my friend got a lego set, claiming he had a *vader* minifig also! I checked, and he had the smallest episode I set. I checked the folder with the set, seeing all new star wars things from a movie I didnt even know that existed yet... Not long after I purchased the same set... TT Quote
KimT Posted December 2, 2007 Posted December 2, 2007 Not sure. I remember buying a load of SW sets at once. (My girlfriend's* father worked at LEGO) So the load arrived containing: 7150 Tie & Y-Wing, 7140 X-Wing, 7128 Speeder bikes, 7130 Snowspeeder & 7110 Landspeeder. At least that's how I remember it. Shortly after I got the next wave containing UCS Tie and Xwing plus the entire 2000 wave. All I'm sure of is that Morten got pretty envious, but then again who wouldn't. KimT * Past tense girlfriend. Clonecommando007 Posted December 2, 2007 Posted December 2, 2007 My first set was the Clone Turbo Tank. :-D Quote
