Thor Posted February 22, 2016 Posted February 22, 2016 (edited) Opinions please! This is begining of one big MOC. Battle T-rex entering the valley that is protected from desert with ruined wall.An evil shaman was eaten and trample by battle T-rex. Other shaman is waiting for him at the place where the gate was before. The story is about ancestors of Aztecs who lived together with dinos, and have been ruled by mighty and wise shamans who were amazing astronomers and philosophers. 12698746_940204866076112_893745566_o by Bojan Mustafic, on Flickr 12675149_940204446076154_231840983_o by Bojan Mustafic, on Flickr 12698740_940204486076150_1618494169_o by Bojan Mustafic, on Flickr 12698747_940205069409425_1168445235_o by Bojan Mustafic, on Flickr 12722446_940205299409402_854701967_o by Bojan Mustafic, on Flickr 12736946_940203859409546_274392030_o by Bojan Mustafic, on Flickr 12675085_940204899409442_1981449218_o by Bojan Mustafic, on Flickr 12499287_940203866076212_357946894_o by Bojan Mustafic, on Flickr More pictures here: https://www.flickr.com/photos/136528677@N02/albums/72157664406267940/with/24906588030/ Edited February 22, 2016 by Thor Quote
Mr Greeble Posted February 23, 2016 Posted February 23, 2016 That ghost rising up is a brilliant idea. Quote
hadidi1999 Posted February 23, 2016 Posted February 23, 2016 Why are some builders ridiculously good and creative. The best MOCs are those which can never be realized better. I cannot realize this MOC any better than it is. Superb job. I would have given you constructive criticism if I could. And Love that bloody Battle T-rex Quote
mechamike Posted February 23, 2016 Posted February 23, 2016 Very nice.. good use of the T-rex , and the ghost rising is brilliant! Quote

And Love that bloody Battle T-rex I quite agree but to my mind the best LEGO shaman is the jungle ruler Achu. Were you inspired by Conan Doyle's "Lost World"? Quote

KlodsBrik Posted February 23, 2016 Posted February 23, 2016 All I can say is this is looking awesome so far ! A lot of cool details such as the dinosaurs footprint, the ghost, your sand and rockwork is superior. To me I really can´t see what could be made better for now. Quote
bricklover Posted February 23, 2016 Posted February 23, 2016 Cool build! Love how you made the footprints! Quote
Tezclatipoca Posted February 23, 2016 Posted February 23, 2016 Excellent build ! Everything is amazing here ! The mounted T Rex is a great idea ! The blood dropping from its jaws is cleverly made, all your rock work is technically perfect and those footprints are just the cream upon the cake ! It's a great begining, I can't wait to see the rest of the bigger MOC you're planning ! Quote
Forresto Posted February 23, 2016 Posted February 23, 2016 i'm not %100 sure what's happening but I like it! That tail armor is well done! Quote
Thor Posted February 23, 2016 Author Posted February 23, 2016 Thank you all for comments. It gives me motivation to build more.:D Quote
Blitzismydog Posted February 24, 2016 Posted February 24, 2016 Agreed with everyone, great techniques, great build. Just awesome all around. Quote
Leonardo da Bricki Posted February 24, 2016 Posted February 24, 2016 The landscape is beautiful, the T-rex is awesome, the ghost is incredible... I love it! One thing though, IMHO, the lime creepers look slightly out of place b/c they are so bright, maybe use some in dark red of dark green. Other than that one thing, I don't think it could be better. Except when it is finished. Quote

Staslegomaster Posted February 24, 2016 Posted February 24, 2016 Video games can be great. As for me I prefer classic and historic literature as a sourse of inspiration for my LEGO creations. will you try to creat your T-rex with bricks? What set is your T-rex from? Keep on building. Quote

Puvel Posted February 25, 2016 Posted February 25, 2016 Brilliant! The ruins look great, the dino’s positioning and carriage look awesome. The bloody footprint is a killer detail! The rock work on the edges is very nicely done as well. Since this is the first part of a big MOC, I’m looking forward to the rest of it Quote
hadidi1999 Posted February 25, 2016 Posted February 25, 2016 And I just noticed the hanging skeleton from the throne, Awesome. Quote
Captain Braunsfeld Posted February 26, 2016 Posted February 26, 2016 Amazing SNOT-technique and a very clever build! Quote
Exetrius Posted February 28, 2016 Posted February 28, 2016 Incredible, amazing, excellent!!! Where should I begin? Let's start with the base: beautiful irregular shaping, great use of stud-on-the-side construction. The huge footprints are a fantastic touch! The rock pillars are great as well. The olive green part behind the 'entrance' could use some more texturing though, as it looks a little too studded. Then, the Tyrannosaurus! I FREAKING LOVE IT!!! That is, together with the.. eh.. structure you put on top of it. The ragged capes, bones, skulls, banners and what-not give it a fantastic look! And to top it off: great figs with awesome posing! The crushed skeleton in the pool of blood with escaping soul is a really spot-on! I look forward to the next part of this build  Quote
Kalais Posted February 28, 2016 Posted February 28, 2016 Awesome, I love the atmosphere here. Good work with colors too. Quote
