strider117 Posted March 25, 2016 Posted March 25, 2016 Thanks! Here it is about 99.9% complete. http://i.imgur.com/MGa9j97.jpg I saved so much money doing it in a grey color scheme. Those 122 white 2L ribbed hoses that go for $1 each got subbed for flat silver ones that cost 2 cents each. Between my part collection and bricklink I don't think I spent more than $30 on it. My god that's the best Y-Wing I've ever seen! And $30.00?! I'm definitely doing that Quote
rmoore Posted March 25, 2016 Posted March 25, 2016 My god that's the best Y-Wing I've ever seen! And $30.00?! I'm definitely doing that Thanks! I should mention that I started with probably 75% of the parts from my own collection to begin the project. So your cost may vary. But I will say that if there was a rare or expensive part that was called for, it was creatively subbed out with another solution, such as those white quarter domes on the front. And the 2 wheels on the back of the ship were just a couple bucks each: https://alpha.bricklink.com/pages/clone/catalogitem.page?P=15038#T=S&C=86&O={"color":"86","rpp":"500"}. Quote
KevinYoung Posted April 9, 2016 Posted April 9, 2016 A USC snowspeeder would be a must have. I'm still kicking myself for not purchasing the super star which now has more then doubled in price. Quote
