lightningtiger Posted February 25, 2016 Posted February 25, 2016 Now here is something different from me, a scene from 1960's live TV......In Melbourne Tonight with host (the king of TV) Graham Kennedy and his co-host (and life long friend) Bert Netwon. Graham was always the joker and hence in the images below Bert is going to receive a pie to the face. There is a camera with it's operator as well. More to come, keep watching and Brick On everyone ! https://ideas.lego.com/projects/130871 Quote
Mestari Posted February 25, 2016 Posted February 25, 2016 I really like the camera :) nice design Quote
KlodsBrik Posted February 26, 2016 Posted February 26, 2016 Great little setup. Really takes one back to the time where studio´s looked gray and boring. Only thing to do was lift the setup by cake throwing ! Cute vignettes. Quote
Markalus Posted February 26, 2016 Posted February 26, 2016 This is awesome! For anyone who doesn't know the subjects of this vignette Graham and Bert are pioneers of entertainment in Australia, particularly radio and television. Graham had a wicked sense of humor and would often cross the boundaries of what was considered acceptable at the time, much to chagrin of studio bosses and sponsors. But it was that Aussie larrikin 'devil may care' attitude that the public adored. I love all your MOCs, there is an authenticity and sense of nostalgia to them, but this one is special. Even the classic Lego hairpiece is perfect as Graham and Bert both had perfect Lego hairstyles at that time! Thanks for sharing. I supported you on Ideas. Quote
