Jacob Nion Posted March 14, 2016 Author Posted March 14, 2016 Now I gotta step up my storyline. The interior is exquisite, the stone work has just the right amount of detail and doesn't look too busy. I too am wondering where the drow will land in our civil war. An absolutely fantastic build! The architecture is perfect. Oh, great! I love the floor, and the furniture, and the walls... But my favoured part is the fireplace Great architecture! I love the floor table walls, and every thing else! The interior is great, especially the wall decorations. Everything fits together, the wall, the floor, the furniture and all the little decorations like the books and the flags. What a superb room! I really like all that stone effect ...and the floor, oh man, the floor is amazing! Nice story! The build is really something special. I really like the entire scene, but my favorite are the assorted pieces of furniture, etc. Thanks very much everyone. I didn't imagine getting that much feedback! This was more meant to bring forward my story so I originally didn't plan to build that large. Very nice! I'm not sure if I said this before, but I really like your rat race.... errr I mean your rat tribe! They really bring a unique aspect to GoH. Thank you! I believe those rats are the best thing that could happen to me in terms of lego. But beware fakers! I saw once or twice similar characters popping up in other lego fantasy rpg's. But I guaranty the original will always be part of Historica. What's with the red snake bitting the poor brown wolf's behind? Just couldn't decide between those so I came up with snakewolves. Excellent build Jacob Nion, the floor is superb (I'm going to have to steal borrow that sometime! ) , and the walls and furniture are fantastic as well! Great job with the fire and the figs too, and (as always!) I'm looking forward to the progression of the story! Thank you! That wouldn't be stealing, since cheese slope mosaics are nothing new. I just hadn't enough 2x2 tile to cover the whole floor. That statue design is definitely something I'll remember for builds of my own in the future Lots of good detailing all over here, I like the fireplace and doorway especially Lovely interior, the floor is really good! Mind if I borrow that technique? The fireplace is great as well! Thank you all very much! Wow! A great story backed up with a great build! What pieces make up the wood panel above the fireplace? Those parts are from the Hobbit set Goblin king battle. Very useful stickers! Beautiful. The walls, fireplace, floor... and great idea for the door handle. Really like the floor, well done! Thank you two! Another beautiful build of yours! The subtility and finesse of the interior is splendid Also, congratulations on reaching the Guilds's Weekly! I waited with commenting until I had time to read your story, and that was worth it. I'm back up-to-date with the ongoing tensions in the Darklands; with the Drow, Black Spire and the Desert King... As always, I'm looking forward to your next build Thank you. There was in fact so much new content coming up while I was building that I had to change the whole story. The three ravens were the last idea I had, when it was so much to discuss in the story. That floor is pure genius! Fantastic interior, Jacob! The table design is great and I like the floor pattern So much to Love in This moc! The fireplace is the best detail for me! The different Wall sections really add to the moc!! Thats a gem moc man... Lovely moc base and floor. Fireplace is amazing too!! Overall an excellent moc! That room is just fantastic. I mean it is perfect. We can all learn a lot from this MOC. Awesome build! Love the fireplace! Impeccable design! Builds like these makes me want to spend more time on my own builds, in order to refine them to a degree that you have attained here. Excellent job! This is awesome! I'm getting a castlevania vibe from the style! I also love the use of a snake as a rat tail! Really that's too much praise now. But thank you :)) Quote
TitusV Posted March 15, 2016 Posted March 15, 2016 Well, you build inspired me so much I wanted to do the same. And altough it differs in size, I think it turned out pretty well. http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=123510#entry2500507 Anyway: thank you for inspiring me, and for all the cool techniques I could borrow from your MOC! Gideon Posted March 18, 2016 Posted March 18, 2016 Excellent interior detailing and great minifigs as usual! The story is also very good Quote
LordDan Posted March 20, 2016 Posted March 20, 2016 Awesome build JN, that interior looks fantastic! Quote
MassEditor Posted March 21, 2016 Posted March 21, 2016 Such dark and ominous tidings... Nocturnus is losing its heroes while the strength of the Black Spire only seems to grow. Fortunately, the cunning Osric always seems to be a step ahead. It will be interesting to see how his dealings with the Bank of Nocturnus goes. It knows no loyalty beyond who carries the most coin. OoC: Exquisite build Jacob, such a finely built interior scene. There are some really great techniques to appreciate here, particularly that fireplace and the area around and above door. Quite realistic detailing. Obviously, can't wait to see where this goes! Quote
