Metanoios Posted July 8, 2016 Posted July 8, 2016 (edited) I think there is a beauty and the beast reference in one of the rooms Yeah, the rose inside the glass. I think the rose might even be a new mold... Every Room in the upper floors contains a reference to a Disney Movie: Cinderella (kitchen), Beauty and the Beast (rose), Fantasia (sorcerer's hat and brooms), Sleeping Beauty (spinning wheel), Rapunzel/Tangled (scissors and comb) and Snow-White (Evil Queen's Mirror) Edited July 8, 2016 by Metanoios91 Quote
ixSEANxi Posted July 8, 2016 Posted July 8, 2016 If anyone hasn't seen it just search #legodisney on Instagram looks amazing! Quote
Robert8 Posted July 8, 2016 Posted July 8, 2016 Oh my god! It looks so beautiful that hurts my eyes! And it has a lot of useful pieces, like the pumpkin head! (Tinkerbell instead of Goofy is kinda lame IMO, but anyway...) Quote
CM4Sci Posted July 8, 2016 Author Posted July 8, 2016 Someone has provided me with images from the article including images that show each room. There's a glass case with Cinderella's slipper and a target practice for Merida. I'm compiling them right now and will upload them... somewhere. Quote
gwigen Posted July 8, 2016 Posted July 8, 2016 So the people that have been able to see a good picture of it. Does anyone have an estimate on the size of it? Quote
Robert8 Posted July 8, 2016 Posted July 8, 2016 (edited) Love all the references! -Beauty and the Beast -Princess and the Frog -Aladdin -Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs -Fantasia -Sleeping Beauty -Brave -Cinderella Edited July 8, 2016 by Robert8 Quote
LegoPercyJ Posted July 8, 2016 Posted July 8, 2016 You know, I wasn't actually planning on getting this. Now I am DEFINITELY picking this up Quote
Falconfan1414 Posted July 8, 2016 Posted July 8, 2016 (edited) The slipper peice is very smart on Legos part. I love it. Also there is a princess and the frog reference too. Edited July 8, 2016 by Falconfan1414 Quote
Borex Posted July 8, 2016 Posted July 8, 2016 But can we expect those figures with this set? All those princesses? Or are those for their next disney series? I mean, you want to have the fig that belongs to their room, right? Quote

Borex Posted July 8, 2016 Posted July 8, 2016 We're only getting the 5 I think. That is a bit weird. But ok. Quote

There's a glass case with Cinderella's slipper and a target practice for Merida. I'm compiling them right now and will upload them... somewhere. Wow even more! The target practice might even be a double reference: Looking at the colour combination of the archery target, I think it hints at Brave, as well as Robin Hood. The classic colours of the target (yellow-red-blue) fit Robin Hood much better than Brave which used more earthy and less saturated colours for the targets in the movie Quote
Ultron Posted July 8, 2016 Posted July 8, 2016 Wow. This set is so good....I wonder how it'd look near my Hogwarts display. Quote
Anonknee Muss Posted July 8, 2016 Posted July 8, 2016 (edited) Is $350 confirmed? Edited July 8, 2016 by J4ck Quote
Bricky Dee Williams Posted July 8, 2016 Posted July 8, 2016 We're only getting the 5 I think. Wow, that's Helicarrier bad. Quote
telaruhn Posted July 8, 2016 Posted July 8, 2016 Gorgeous. Simply Gorgeous. I can't wait to buy it! So many amazing parts and recolors... Quote

The classic colours of the target (yellow-red-blue) fit Robin Hood much better than Brave which used more earthy and less saturated colours for the targets in the movie I'm pretty sure it's only a reference to Robin Hood. The Brave aspect is just a coincidence. Disney owns Pixar, sure, but looking at the other references, they are all classic Disney cartoon animations. Quote
legobagel Posted July 8, 2016 Posted July 8, 2016 Wow!!! This looks so good, but oh no. My wallet is already dying as it is. I need old Marvel sets, Dimensions packs, new Marvel sets, Gorilla Grodd set, 9 more Disney figs (which I can't find anywhere!) and even more Marvel sets coming in January, plus all the Mighty Micros, minus four from wave 1, and now this! Oh no. Wow. This set is so good....I wonder how it'd look near my Hogwarts display. Ooh... Good idea! Quote
BigHobbit Posted July 8, 2016 Posted July 8, 2016 (edited) i kind of wonder if the rooms are a clue to who we may see in a second series. Belle, Aurora, Robin Hood, etc. Edited July 8, 2016 by BigHobbit Quote
Metanoios Posted July 8, 2016 Posted July 8, 2016 (edited) Well, they have to release a Cinderella to fit that glass slipper... Kind of sad that they didn't include her right away. Along with Jasmine, Goofy and Aurora Edited July 8, 2016 by Metanoios91 Quote
sunhuntin Posted July 8, 2016 Posted July 8, 2016 WOWSERS!!! That is so much better than I ever expected. Love the references to so many movies from a variety of eras. Really like how they did the spires. With the target, I initially thought Robin Hood but every other room is Princess related, leading me to think the target is Brave Quote
