Am I the only one who don't like it? It's nice, it's big and that's all. It looks a bit messy for me, some details are overemphasized. Of course character themed rooms are nice, but not so nice without these characters in minifig form.

But it probably looks much better in real world than in photos.

Where can I find pictures of the rooms?

On the same Reddit reveal page, CM4Sci says "okay, these are the last ones" (or something along those lines) with a link to another Imgur page. Click the link after the comment. Official-looking pictures of the front and back should be there.

Is the room with the pumpkin and the fireplace a nod to Cinderella ? Also I've realised where the glass slipper is hidden !

Apologies about my Tinkerbell comment .. apparently 'park' Tink does indeed own a wand for sprinkling pixie dust around .. it's in the movie she never actually owns one : )

Also looking at the herald shields, none of them are the Disney family crest. That would have been a great Easter egg.

Yeah it would have been

Thanks

Oops, forgot to post my thoughts. I like it. I don't think it's something I have to have, but it's a really nice tribute to Disney and its fans. The rooms do look a bit packed-in and cluttered, but the details are nice, and it feels finished despite its open back.

Honestly I liked the set, but I was disappointed with the minifigures. I wanted the minigure of Anastacia, Drizella, Lady Tramanie, Cinderella, Cruella, Hades or any other character that did not appear in season 1.

Anastasia's not a Disney Princess.

Think, the minifigure of Anastasia would be very cool, red hair, the giant skirt and feather in hair

Yeah but there are other minifigures that lego will focus on the more main centre of attention minifigures but that does have potential though

Got a picture of the rest!

Minifigures are correct -

Mickey with bowtie and coattails

Minnie with red dress

Donald Duck

Daisy Duck with a dark magenta torso and dark lavender bow

Tinkerbell above with a cloth skirt, lime trans wand, and new hair.

The bottom half is pretty much grey wall.

Exciting!

So no Cinderella?

Wow, given it is CINDERELLA's Castle and not Tinkerbell's that really is pathetic.

I agree, looks like oversized playset, which isnt shocking. But price will be shocking in non USA countries, i think 350 USD will be same as 350 euro plus at least 30 euro in many other european countries other than Germany.

Well isnt this fair for some kilograms of plastic...

It was rumoured we would be getting Cinderella but I guess not

That is very, very, sad. It is like making a set called "Hulk's Super City Smash" and including Captain America, Thor, Iron Man, Spider-Man, and Wolverine.

Seriously LEGO?

I'm expecting this to be around $600 or $700NZD, and the only place kiwis will be able to buy it is S@H. The main supplier of large and exclusive type sets have confirmed they wont be getting it. $400NZD is the free shipping threshold for our S@H.

Yeah, I thought I saw that rumor too.

Pretty much, shame but we will more than likely be getting her in disney series 2

It really should have Cinderella. This is a huge misstep.

It should be Cinderella, the Prince, and at least a couple of other minifigures (and a couple of mice and birds wouldn't hurt). Maybe the Fairy Godmother, too. I guess they're waiting for the next series of Disney minifigures so they can make us pay even more to get what should be a complete set here.

I disagree about having all the Cinderella related characters in it but certainly Cinderella, after all this is the castle based on Disneyland, so Cinderella and the prince at least along with Mickey, Minnie, Daisy and Donald. That at least would be good.

Actually Tinkerbell is accurate to the real life building, as during Firework shows she "glides" from the tallest tower down to the ground. The fact there are stud shooters hidden in the tower makes me think Tinkerbell was included for a fireworks recreation.

And yes despite the real life Cinderella theming of the building, she is rarely seen there in Disney World! She is normally in a "Princess Meet and Great" building around the corner behind the castle. Disney parks are kind of weird that way... Disneyland has it even worse,Sleeping Beauty is rarely seen at all in the park!

In fact I think the most common characters to see near the Castle in real life is Mickey in a suit, Minnie in a red dress, Donald, and Daisy... Lego hit the nail right on the head with their figure selection!
