x105Black Posted July 10, 2016 Posted July 10, 2016 Oh My Disney! It's beautiful! So many details and all those references to the movies inside! It's everything I hoped it would be! Of course it would have been nice to get some princesses to populate it with, especially Cinderella herself, but like with the Kwik-E Mart it's good that they limited themselves to only one exclusive character so that those who can't afford it (which is most people) wont miss out on much. And considering it's based on the parks, Tink was the best choice I think. The only minifigure in the set that isn't exclusive, as far as I can tell, is Donald. Also if anyone needs Cinderella I'm sure the minidoll version is cheap on Bricklink! Ha! Quote
Robert8 Posted July 10, 2016 Posted July 10, 2016 Does Daisy have new printing in the set? I can't really tell e.e Quote
Conzo71 Posted July 10, 2016 Posted July 10, 2016 Does Daisy have new printing in the set? I can't really tell e.e Yes, Daisy have new printing Quote
0tter Posted July 10, 2016 Posted July 10, 2016 Yes, Daisy have new printing Wow, I didn't notice that. I had to Google it, and am glad to see that the included Daisy appears to be more "park accurate": pink top with a lavender bow. Although the pink shoes of the CMF release seem more appropriate than the (what appear to be) lavender shoes of the set. Is this getting too pedantic? :) Quote
Robert8 Posted July 10, 2016 Posted July 10, 2016 Oh I think I see it now. She has some torso printing By the way, that Tinker Bell is just nope... I mean NOPE She totally needed short legs. And she has a wand now? I've seen her using a wand except in Once Upon a Time, the TV show. And this is clearly not inspired in that show Quote

0tter Posted July 10, 2016 Posted July 10, 2016 (edited) By the way, that Tinker Bell is just nope... I mean NOPE She totally needed short legs. She's fine with normal legs. She's a cast-member, dressed as the character. At least that's how I see her. It's Disney World. Edited July 10, 2016 by 0tter Quote

That'd just look weird honestly. Quote
Oky Posted July 10, 2016 Posted July 10, 2016 The only minifigure in the set that isn't exclusive, as far as I can tell, is Donald. I said exclusive character. Again, I was comparing it to the Kwik-E Mart, the last D2C set based on a CMF line, where Snake was the only character out of 6 that hadn't appeared in the CMF at all. By the way, that Tinker Bell is just nope... I mean NOPE She totally needed short legs. And she has a wand now? I've seen her using a wand except in Once Upon a Time, the TV show. And this is clearly not inspired in that show No, as it has been pointed out many times in this thread, it's based on the theme park where Tink is portrayed by a regular sized human actor and carries a wand. Even if this was supposed to be the real Tink, why would you want her to have short legs? She's a fairy with the body proportions of a grown woman, not a dwarf. And it's not like being slightly shorter would make her size movie-accurate. Personally, I think she looks about as good as can be expected. Quote
Robert8 Posted July 10, 2016 Posted July 10, 2016 Ok Ok Ok regular legs then Calm down people hahahaha Quote

LegoMcBoss2004 Posted July 10, 2016 Posted July 10, 2016 (edited) Bothan Spy is from SW and people on eurobricks receive the title when they are a reliable source (Just2Good) and Sci is what we call CM4Sci without saying his entire username. Edited July 10, 2016 by LegoMcBoss2004 Quote

BrickBob Studpants Posted July 10, 2016 Posted July 10, 2016 There is not Next year line-up is Jan Batman Movie Series May Series 17 Sep Ninjago Movie Series Disney Series 2 is likely to happen in 2018 I know, but they've recently postponed the sequel to the LEGO Movie to 2019 so I'm pretty confident they'll move the Ninjago Movie to 2018 very soon to avoid releasing two LEGO movies in the same year And I don't think the Ninjago CMF series has been confirmed, has it? I thought it was just assumed we'd get one since TLM and TLBM both did B2T: I've been drooling over the pictures since they've been leaked and I still can't manage to find the glass slipper and the archery stuff people have been mentioning Am I blind? Jarreth2 Posted July 10, 2016 Posted July 10, 2016 (edited) Lego-freak .. incoming PM : ) I wasn't sure on the Tink figure too .. although the picture we have is grainy I just thought this .. she has a smaller look due to her head being normal minifig sized compared to the other 4 who have larger moulded heads ? But then the way her wings attach ( over the head post ) make her neck look slightly longer ? Shame there's not a way that the wings just attach to her back ? I'm liking it overall : ) Edited July 10, 2016 by Jarreth2 Quote
BrickBob Studpants Posted July 10, 2016 Posted July 10, 2016 (edited) Thanks again! The details and references in this set are incredible The way the glass slipper is constructed is simple yet effective and its box is also very neatly done. The archery section also looks great. The 2x2 target tile seems to be the same one as in the Friends sets but I don't recognise the 1x1 round tiles, are those new? Btw, Marcos Bessa really seems to love that new 1x1 round tile with pin but so do I, that piece is incredibly useful Edited July 10, 2016 by Lego-Freak Quote
Bricky Dee Williams Posted July 10, 2016 Posted July 10, 2016 So, to anyone who's seen it, what is the bedroom reference supposed to be. Where is this lego slipper? I don't see it either... And I don't see an archery section either. Unless you're referring to the pinholes in the Fantasia Room. Quote

TJJohn12 Posted July 10, 2016 Posted July 10, 2016 She has one in the Disney Parks fireworks shows. Not to mention almost every depiction of her in relation to Disney theme parks since their inception in 1955: Quote
