*huh* Wowzers! That is one stunning gate! I especially like your use of the round brick corner parts, with jumper plates? stick out of the gaps occasionally

Superb shape too, with the curving walls, and buildings that match that curve inside. Even the landscape is impressive, with some great sand dunes and good use of plants :classic:

Beautiful build KingGregus - wonderful job with the colors, and the wall and gates are very impressive and convey the feeling of enormous wealth superbly! Fantastic work with the interior as well, those stables are particularly excellent (the olive roofs work incredibly well!) Can't wait to see more from you here! :sweet::excited:

Fantastic intro, kinggregus! :wub_drool: The curved wall is superb and I really like the sand dunes as well

The curved buildings inside are excellent as well, looking forward to seeing more Kaliphlin builds from you! :classic:

My god! First three messages from my heroes from Eurobricks, Missing only Mark of Falworth  ... I can now (almost) die happy

In response to Isaac, I have filled the corner round bricks with droid arms,it is the only piece that could fill the gap + it was connected on the other side to ensure the wall was sturdy.

That blue against that orange and gold is superb! All the little details, shaping, this must have taken you months!

Thanks so much Mr Greeble. Indeed, I started shortly before Christmas, but then, I am a very slow builder... + I had to make a few Bricklink orders as I had overestimated my collection of medium dark flesh.

Ah! That's quite clever, and something I'll have to remember if ever use a lot of those corner round bricks :classic:

Everything blended so well I thought it was digital. You've really got a hand for matching the gates with the lively colors of the city, as every build I've seen from Petraea is similar. Excellent first build.

Lovely! The colors here are excellent, very nice sandscape out front and the bits of green add a lot! Those golden doors are great too and I really like the little buildings lining the inside! Great to have you in Kaliphlin!

That gate depicts with no doubt what I imagined Petraea to look like. An impressive build that gives visitors a glance of the wealth of Kaliphlin.

Outstanding work!

Very nice build, this would certainly fit as one of the gates of Petraea! I like both the overall appearance and the details :classic:

Is it droid arms you've used between the curved parts beside the gate?

I always like when both sides of a non-rectilinear structure is presentable :classic:

You never get a second chance to make a good first impression, and you definitely took your chance! This is just fantastic. My favourite part is the doors of the gate, but the whole thing is just beautiful. I love the plentiful colours, and it looks extraordinarily rich and decorated, while at the same time it maintains its military functionality.

Very well done!
