Posted March 6, 20168 yr Hey everyone, New poster here, just joined up on EB after digging my childhood Lego collection out of my parents' house and exploring 'new' Lego online. I wanted to show this mod I did to the 60057 Camper that I did after seeing eurotrash's work on his awesome 7-wide version in his thread: http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=105061 I went with 8 wide for the living area on mine, and am actually looking for a little advice on how I could fill in some of the gained space. Here's the new side profile. I added a rolled up awning based on the version in the thread I linked above, as well as some tool storage. Please excuse the discoloration of some parts... I BL'd a bunch of parts to bulk up my stocks, but some parts were taken from my old stash and are a little funky. I'm also not totally set on the added roof texture from the widening, so that may change a bit if I come up with something better. Once nice thing is that I did not loose any of the storage capacity in the roof compartments from increasing the width. From the front you can just barely make out the added second seat up front. I got the set for cheap off BL without the figures, so I had to substitute some oldies from my collection. The rear with a ladder and bike storage. Here's the new interior. As you can see, there's a decent 2-wide space gained next to the bed that I want to fill with some kind of cabinets or storage solution, but I'm having trouble coming up with what to use. Any thoughts are greatly appreciated! Thanks for looking!
March 7, 20168 yr Welcome to the forums Prometheum5! That 6- to 8-wide junction can be tricky to get right, but I think you did a good job. I like the changes and upgrades you've made and the RV looks ready for a long road-trip!

I like the changes and upgrades you've made and the RV looks ready for a long road-trip! Thank you! I actually just swapped the two 2x2 white bricks behind the cab with L-shaped pieces so they aren't crowding the driver's area. I like that they make a little divide between the driver's area and the living area. I really like the working side door on your version, but I haven't don't quite have the room for it with the way my width extension is built.
