LegoJalex Posted March 8, 2016 Posted March 8, 2016 A classroom mainly inspired from my own memories from when I was in school in the 90s. Quote
KlodsBrik Posted March 8, 2016 Posted March 8, 2016 Pretty close as to how I remember my classroom being like back in the 80's. And what a great build with lot's of details. Loving it ! Quote
Mr Greeble Posted March 8, 2016 Posted March 8, 2016 I love that chalk board! The tv, trashcan, windows, everything thing here is so well thought out! Quote
slopemodified Posted March 8, 2016 Posted March 8, 2016 (edited) Nicely done! I like the overhead projector - instantly recognisable Now it just needs a bunch of students, a teacher and perhaps an apple on the teacher's desk (not sure if that's done in Swedish schools) Edited March 8, 2016 by slopemodified Quote
JGW3000 Posted March 8, 2016 Posted March 8, 2016 It's like deja-vu all over again. But I think we had tan curtains! Quote
Piratedave84 Posted March 8, 2016 Posted March 8, 2016 Very nice! I love the curtain effect! Brings back memories!!! Quote
dr_spock Posted March 8, 2016 Posted March 8, 2016 Very well done. I like all the little details you put into it. Quote
Dopplercb Posted March 8, 2016 Posted March 8, 2016 That is so cool! Looks just like a classroom I would have been in! Quote
kibosh Posted March 8, 2016 Posted March 8, 2016 This is stunning. You have perfectly captured so many great details. Love the AV cart. And the roll up projection screen. Quote
Borex Posted March 8, 2016 Posted March 8, 2016 Yeah that projection screen and the overhead projector are so cool. The brown tv and videorecorder. I like everything! Thanks for sharing! Quote
Exetrius Posted March 8, 2016 Posted March 8, 2016 This is accurate in so many ways superb detailing!!! Great use of the printed Lego Games tiles as learning pictograms! Quote
Andy D Posted March 8, 2016 Posted March 8, 2016 That is very nice. However when I was in Elementary thru High School we had black chalkboards, TV in classroom was unheard of and we didn't have overhead projectors. Of course my Elementary thru High school was late 1950's thru early 1960's. That's what I get for being "older than dirt". Andy D Quote
N-4K0 Posted March 8, 2016 Posted March 8, 2016 Nice one, you don't even need to imagine, you can almost see the students and teacher on yet another usual school day in this classroom. Quote
Feuer Zug Posted March 8, 2016 Posted March 8, 2016 That so instantly reminded me of my fourth grade classroom. The movable tv cart, the overhead projector, all of it. Quote
ivyhedge Posted March 8, 2016 Posted March 8, 2016 Fantastic - does that TV cart tip a bit when dragged?! ;) Quote
sunhuntin Posted March 9, 2016 Posted March 9, 2016 amazing! never thought id be happy to be back at school, lol. i love the blackboard and the scenery outside the windows, looks like a mountain scene? really well done :) Quote
xboxtravis7992 Posted March 9, 2016 Posted March 9, 2016 Memories... By the time I was in High School this old classroom style began to be "digitized" although a few old VHS players remained! Quote
Graham Gidman Posted March 9, 2016 Posted March 9, 2016 Man, this is just so good. As usual, your details are spot on and it has the perfect atmosphere. Well done! Quote
LegoJalex Posted March 9, 2016 Author Posted March 9, 2016 Thanks everyone for your comments! It is nice reading what details you recognize and remember from your school. Quote
LEGO Train 12 Volts Posted March 9, 2016 Posted March 9, 2016 Gorgeous! I like the way you've done the TV with the VHS player! I hate school but I love this MOC! Quote
Dar2k Posted March 9, 2016 Posted March 9, 2016 Nice work, I love your MOC. I don't know why, but I feel a soothing atmosphere by looking at it... Only the teacher's yellow ruler is missing. :P Quote
Staslegomaster Posted March 10, 2016 Posted March 10, 2016 (edited) Nicely done! I like the overhead projector - instantly recognisable Now it just needs a bunch of students, a teacher and perhaps an apple on the teacher's desk (not sure if that's done in Swedish schools) I quite agree it's better to add some mini figures and Bart Simpson among them! So many interesting details - you forgot about nothing! Edited March 10, 2016 by Staslegomaster Quote
gylman Posted March 10, 2016 Posted March 10, 2016 This brings a tear to my eyes. Really. Thanks for building this wonderful work. Quote
