Sven F Posted March 9, 2016 Posted March 9, 2016 (edited) Cool. looks a bit american diner(ish) combined with a bit of east european communist era fast food / bar Not sure where you are from, but judging by the alcohol bottles and glasses in a caffe, I'll assume it's not USA. but then you have the waiter doing refills with the coffee jar which is again very american. I like it, it's quite fitting to the Cafe Corner design. Really great photos, you made an effort to capture this right. Edited March 9, 2016 by Sven F Quote
darkhorse00 Posted March 9, 2016 Author Posted March 9, 2016 (edited) Thank you all! The colour theme is American, but I am not from USA. Planning to fit one 1950s A4 Checker cab to this hotel soon. Part of the cab can be seen in one of the pictures, and currently work in progress. It is kind of hard to get parts in my country, and I have to see how fast bricklink can send me those parts. Haha. Edited March 9, 2016 by darkhorse00 Quote
Tech Artist Posted March 9, 2016 Posted March 9, 2016 This is amazing. I always love a good cafe/restaurant build! I also love when I see parts are used in such creative ways to create everyday items not available as single pieces on their own. The Coffee Jar is the shining example in this build! I think I have all those parts used in the Coffee Jar sitting next to me right now. I might make my own if I do! :) Quote
LEGO Train 12 Volts Posted March 9, 2016 Posted March 9, 2016 Fantastic bar and lovely juke box! Quote

I think I have all those parts used in the Coffee Jar sitting next to me right now. Captain Braunsfeld Posted March 12, 2016 Posted March 12, 2016 The perfect addition to a great set! This is exactly what Cafe Corner had been lacking! Quote
Redhead1982 Posted March 12, 2016 Posted March 12, 2016 Well done. The interiors is really nice. It's also very inviting from the outside when you peak through the large windows. Quote
Kristel Posted March 13, 2016 Posted March 13, 2016 Looks fantastic! Love the colour scheme and the details such as the taps holding up the sauce bench. Quote
darkhorse00 Posted March 13, 2016 Author Posted March 13, 2016 (edited) LOVE that jukebox!!! Fantastic bar and lovely juke box! That Jukebox is my favourite! Well done. The interiors is really nice. It's also very inviting from the outside when you peak through the large windows. Thank you! I did some more moc (A 1950s A4 Checker Cab to go with the theme) for the diners/hotel guest. Jasper Joppe Geers Posted March 13, 2016 Posted March 13, 2016 Can i just mention, great photography there! Quote
Palixa And The Bricks Posted March 13, 2016 Posted March 13, 2016 Great addition to this modular! My favourite parts are the juke box and the cabinets behind the counter. The counter itself appears to be a bit too low in my opinion, maybe just 1 plate is missing in height. Quote

My favourite parts are the juke box and the cabinets behind the counter. The counter itself appears to be a bit too low in my opinion, maybe just 1 plate is missing in height. Good point there. I shall try that out. Will either remove 1 plate space from the seat or raise the table top height. Thanks for the recommendation! Quote
Withacee Posted March 14, 2016 Posted March 14, 2016 Great interior; I love the colour combinations and the "clean" look. I'm almost sorry now that I have already built another interior for CC Keep clicking those bricks together. Quote

Dakar A Posted March 17, 2016 Posted March 17, 2016 The cab is fantastic and really sells the image. All you need now is to make a busy street outside filled with them! :P Quote
Wodanis Posted March 18, 2016 Posted March 18, 2016 (edited) Really enjoyed seeing your interior Darkhorse00, especially the condiment counter! Excellent work. On a side note, what lens for your camera did you use to take the photos with? Edited March 18, 2016 by Wodanis Quote

ConBrickFan Posted March 26, 2016 Posted March 26, 2016 I must say, this is an absolutely wonderful interior for a modular that was desperately in need of one. The colour scheme looks very crisp and clean, and the furniture design goes very well with the exterior of the model, in terms of period, as well as the dark red matching with the top layer of the building. The jukebox is fantastic! Keep up the good work! Quote
JLSD Posted March 26, 2016 Posted March 26, 2016 I can hear the tunes from that jukebox and love the cab. Great work! Quote
