Selander Posted March 10, 2016 Posted March 10, 2016 (edited) DkGreen Shunter 7w. Design has borrowed some genes from a BR Class 04 locomotive, but mostly what I found pleasing for the eye. It has a DkRed chassis with 3axles where the mid axle is floating to ensure a frictionless ride. Base 7w / Cab 6 2/3w / Hood 5wide, and L=18studs. So overall dimensions are similar to a 4563 loco. It is not powered and for the moment I think I leave it like that. Motorisation may be put in a following wagon (?). More pictures may be found in my Flickr account. THERIZE Posted March 10, 2016 Posted March 10, 2016 It looks really nice! How did you make the front grille? Im pretty sure the bottem plates are smaller than the top ones. Quote
Selander Posted March 10, 2016 Author Posted March 10, 2016 I put three yellow sticker stripes in front of the loco. One is in the bottom of the grille and the other two on each 87087 black brick. Other "stripes" are made from yellow plates. Quote
Captain Green Hair Posted March 10, 2016 Posted March 10, 2016 That's a neat looking shunter, good work! Can we see the under carriage perhaps? Quote
LEGO Train 12 Volts Posted March 11, 2016 Posted March 11, 2016 (edited) When I see new topic from you, it has to be another masterpiece. And so it is with this one. I love the perfect shape and amazing livery (in dark green) The middle swinging axle is amazing and the details of this bogie are amazing too! Edited March 11, 2016 by LEGO Train 12 Volts Quote

Severus A Posted March 13, 2016 Posted March 13, 2016 It looks excellent. Have you built a motor inside? Quote
Selander Posted March 13, 2016 Author Posted March 13, 2016 It looks excellent. Have you built a motor inside? Thanks, loco is not powered but it does have a brickbuilt "engine" which is visible through the doors. But I forgot to take a shot of that..... Quote

That was the sense of my question - about the brickbuilt engine :) It would be great if you could post an image with it. Quote
