April 23, 200519 yr I chose Star Wars. Although what we've been getting is great, I really think that they should have more of the sets way back, like the Jedi-Defence sets. Those were awesome. A perfect example woud be Mace versus Palpatine, with the infamous double-headed minifig for Palpatine as well as the part of the balcony, and Mace Windu with breaking windows. Now that would be a set I would buy! Also, I would gladly welcome a Lego Mini Naboo fleet with the Royal Cruiser (Episode 1) and three mini Naboo starfighters. This would be awesome to go with all the other minis. I also think they should also do a Lego Shop @ Home exclusive (NOT Brickmaster! I despise them for not noting Canada!) of the ARC Strike force from the Clone Wars series. Basically, it would be one Red ARC, with 2 blue ones (one with rocket launcher and the last with the gattling gun) and sum that up with 3 normal Clone Troopers. While my hopes are highly impossible, I can always dream. >-|
April 23, 200519 yr No Halo - that's against their morals and they're not doing any more licenses. I do think that Star Wars should be really expanded upon, though. We still need: - Jabba's Sail Barge - all Palpatine battles - Dooku battle - Jedi Council - Republic Senate - Republic Gunship re-release - MA-AT w/ AT-TE - Geonosis Arena - Theed Palace - Echo Base - B-wing re-release - A-wing re-release - Endor shield bunker - AT-ST re-release Those are the most important ones I can think of at the moment.

Their are a lot of mini's they could do as well Covenant and UNSC space ships They could even do a longsword fighter BUT THE BEST WOULD BE AN ACTUAL MASTER CHIEF FIG!!!!!! :oD

They're anti-violence, and Halo is a first-person shooter. VERY violent. Star Wars is a classic, timeless piece of cinema - I think there's a difference between it and Halo. Besides, like I said - they're not getting any new licenses.

For ex: A playset like CC but for Death Star (maybe made as two big sets). A Hoth set with Luke, a Taun-Taun and a Wampa. Another Jabba set with Leia as the bounty hunter and some guard. What is a MA-AT? Pictures?

I don't have one, and therefore I wouldn't min a good redisigned one (rounder on the sides) ;)

I was tired of it and dismantled it for parts (especially the chromed ones)

April 24, 200519 yr Other => Town and Trains I want more side-track train buildings. Maybe more detailed steam engined with water tower and a watch tower. Old-fashioned stations. Also some normal Town buildings, a gas station, some stores and houses, etc.
April 24, 200519 yr Other, Lord of the Rings. They probably wont make Halo/Halo2, because of the weapons and stuff, which dosent follow their safety rule like with Bionicle, where the weapons are tools, and not weapons.
April 24, 200519 yr You can definitly cross licences out of the list (Halo, LOTR...). I'm sure we'll see a lot of town/city sets in a near future. We also can hope for space and pirates. EDIT: I would love to see a brand new UCS line devoted to architecture (like they did the Statue of Liberty): you would have the most famous exemples such as the Pyramid of Kehops, the Parthenon, the Eiffel Tower...
April 24, 200519 yr -perhaps we'll see a follow up of the viking theme they're going to release this year. -the dino theme might be launched in december. that will probably last until summer 2006 -they'll continue the star wars line but it would be smart if they were to set up a sf/space-theme in september 2006 to fully replace the sw-theme in 2007 -i hope we'll get city sets next year as long as they're an addition to what's already been released... and it would be smart to link the train theme with these sets -another historic theme (greeks, roman,...) in 2007 is a possibility, especially if the viking theme doesn't stay on -perhaps another licence, like a Porche sports car line? i have a lot of questions with a space theme. i'd like that very much, but i don't know exactly what that would be: a large theme like the classic space theme, or a follow up of small themes, like blacktron I,II, ... April 24, 200519 yr -they'll continue the star wars line but it would be smart if they were to set up a sf/space-theme in september 2006 to fully replace the sw-theme in 2007 I believe the lisense runs through 2007, meaning that they'll release sets in 2007 as well. So if we get a Space theme we'll probably get it somewhere between September 2007 and January 2008.
April 24, 200519 yr i have a lot of questions with a space theme. i'd like that very much, but i don't know exactly what that would be: a large theme like the classic space theme, or a follow up of small themes, like blacktron I,II, ... I think the most difficult question for TLC right now is "how to replace star wars" TLC definitly need another space theme but AFTER the SW license. The main problem is for them to come out with a great idea/storyline/design. Space police have been done, as the historical beginning of space discovery (not in system sets though). That's a good idea: re-release (and redisign) the space shuttle with its launch ramp, and have a lunar expedition SYSTEM playset - I like those astronauts minifigs... One thing I would LOVE but its never going to happen is a Manga license - imagine the potential in that (sorry if the titles are poorly translated): Ulysse 31, Captain Harlock, Cobra, Goldorak Great minifigs, great space ships (SYSTEM and UCS).... Oh well, I love to dream sometimes ;)
