ER0L Posted March 15, 2016 Posted March 15, 2016 I do like it, especially the frontend looks really nice. Great that it fits so many figs. One aspect that could be improved in my opinion is the waistline which should be higher at the sides. If you look at the original car you can see that the waistline is nearly as high as the hood whereas the roof is very low - which is quite important to get the proper look of a car of that era. By lifting the sides you'd also get more ground clearance beneath the mid section. However, this looks very promising. If it's the first car MOC you've built I'm looking forward to further minifig scale cars from you! Quote

If it's the first car MOC you've built I'm looking forward to further minifig scale cars from you! I share the same thoughts that the sides aren't really the best. The design for the sides panel are the most challenging, as I was trying to standardize all my moc vehicles for the modulars to 2 seats in the front. (My first build is a 1938 cadillac v16 limousine for palace cinema: http://www.eurobrick...howtopic=121161). Raising the sides is a good idea, but eventually, I conclude that I need to sacrifice a more solid side panel build to squeeze in 2 minifigs in front. I like you guys' feedback and posts! It motivates me to create new builds and improve my design. . Edited March 16, 2016 by darkhorse00 Quote
Rotundus Posted October 11, 2016 Posted October 11, 2016 I like this! Very "stylish". If you want to pick it apart, yeah there are a few lines that don't quite work, but, you have captured the "look and feel" of the prototype rather well. Indeed, a very nice addition to your city scene. Quote
Mesabi Posted October 13, 2016 Posted October 13, 2016 Very Nice build, I don't think I've seen a 6w done that well before! Quote

Am planning to build one 6w vehicle for everyone of my modulars. More to come. :) Quote
LEGO Train 12 Volts Posted October 13, 2016 Posted October 13, 2016 Truly fascinating! Wonderful taxi! Quote
Captain Green Hair Posted October 13, 2016 Posted October 13, 2016 I agree with Erol on the height of the sides, I also find the window styles a bit thick. But apart from that it looks beautiful!? Quote
