Nice entry, Stauder, expecially for your first try with a mech. *y*

The design is a bit semplicistic, but I see interesting ideas for those shoulder articolations. And the claw-like thumb is interesting, too.

Looks just like a jet-mech ;-)

Maybe you should focus on making a more sturdy structure on that frame *y*

EDIT: Cool mech Stauder! Original build, nice and simple, cool colour scheme, and I like the legs! Do I sense an interview with Mr Tiber coming up? :-P

What Mr. Tiber? *Calls in agents* He knows too much.

*Iamded is dragged off by Agents*

Anyone else suspect anyting?

Thanks for the comments. But just by seeing Luxor"s Mech I know I wont get a single vote :-P

Cool entry LuxorV! 2 modes, neat! It certainly reflects the Shakar minifig. The staff is neat, as is the cockpit. The shoulders I particularly like, and the detail in the lower part of the legs is very nice! *y*

Thanks guys :-$

As I stated before, I really find Shakar's sigfig very interesting and inspiring, along with his nick. It sounds very mysterious, and it speaks of far away places (either real countries or imaginary planets ;-) ).

I'll be looking forward to see your creations *y*

Actually, I think I'll be entering this. After all, what better way to show off my new sig-fig than this? ^.^

(Oh, and of course, to prove how useful Bionicle parts can be in system mechas =P)

*hopes his very unoriginal (due to limited parts) sig-fig hasn't been done yet*

*sad* True they are useful, but working with classic joints is far more challenging and less cheap looking IMO.

Zero, can we have clarification on the question of whether the entry is supposed to be piloted by the sig-fig or resemble the sig fig? My feeling was that it is meant to resemble a member's sig-fig...At least that is what my entry will be doing... ;-)

Whoa, yeah that completely changes the scenario. MicVash's sig Mech represents his personality and attributes but doesn't look like his physical self at all, it's simply his personal Mech. If people are judging on whether it most phyically looks like your sig-fig then it's a completely different ball game.

The mech or robot must resemble the member in a certain way. It can be piloted or (like my entry ;-) ) be

a self-aware robot (without cockpits or anything). I hope that clears your questions guys. :-)

It certainly does. Thanks!

I only hope that wheels instead of legs are okay, too. I just got too tired of trying to build legs with LDD :-(

Luxor, let me say your mech is great! I really like how it has two modes, though I like the standard mode more (just because I prefer blue to red). I think the shoulders especially look nice, they seem pretty deadly. That staff is a great idea, it does look like an huge version of Shakar's. The only thing I would remove are the tan round tiles on the arms and the limegreen pieces, I think they ruin the colour scheme.

Great job overall. *y*

Wow, I haven't even started mine yet and there are already some entries! X-O

Well done to Stauder, LuxorV, Zero1312, and DJ Force! *y*

Stauder, I loved that we got to see your security mech in your interview.

Well, as soon as I finish my house (nearly done! |-/ ) I'll start this! Thanks for setting up such a great contest Zero1312! *sweet*

Thats fine! *sweet* You certaintly make excellent mechas and you are probably my favourite builder in that area, its very cool to see your next one, each time you surprise me! *y*

I've already commented on Stauder's so heres my thoughts on the others:

LuxorV, I really like this sigfig special thing you have going, the design is genius! *wub* Though I'm not sure its fair to creat two different mechs for the modes, they are really alike so I see no problem :-)

Interesting design DJ Force, was the colours meant to resemble you, because they do. I like the wheel design and forward facing head! *y*

Thanks :-$

I knew you'd have pinpointed those colored pieces. Let me explain: I used the tan round tiles because all of my black tiles (2) are already in another model (I should buy more |-/ ), and the limegreen piece because I think there isn't a black exo-code tile (at least I don't have it), and almost all of my exo-style mecha have an activation code somewhere in the design :-$ .

They're not two different mechs: it's just one with some pieces color (not shape or anything) changed. Think of it this way: it's a mech with some parts that can change their color when they are charged with energy ;-) .

I started with the red mode because I thought I didn't have the right pieces for Shakar's standard blue style. Later, I realized I had them 8-

I wanted to post a comment yesterday evening, but there was some server problems |-/

Nice little mech there, Steel *y*

I like your clear color scheme; it would seem a counter to my dark entry X-D

Just like you, I like your mech a lot, but I still prefer mine :-$ ;-)

P.S.: you must open the image link by clicking on the pic and use that adress, to deeplink *y*
