Vindicare Posted July 11, 2019 Posted July 11, 2019 Looks great, I like all the little scenes. I love the 16x blue building in the first picture using 1x2 plates...I want to make something using that technique, but am not much of MOCer. I love the look of it though. Quote

TX ;) i try to give all my minifigs something to do, and not put them random in town. Its more fun for visitors of exhibition to find little scenes in town with my little help and the list i made. Building with blue is my 1 ( after 4 try ;) hope to make more-only its hard to get combination of colors to look great . Quote

Finding the right combination of colors can be tricky. My plan is to use earth tones like tan & dark tan, brown, and maybe light grey...if four colors doesn’t feel like too much. Quote
Romanos Posted September 29, 2019 Author Posted September 29, 2019 (edited) New layout is in testing phase, there will be a square, a construction site and a field. 4 new buildings-in Tudor house style. ? Edited September 29, 2019 by Romanos Quote
Romanos Posted October 8, 2019 Author Posted October 8, 2019 My new town square is near the end . If only i have 1x1 tiles it would be better. Only i need about 20,000 for the whole city ???? Quote
Vindicare Posted October 9, 2019 Posted October 9, 2019 Looks great, I really like the base around the tree. The larger dark grey plates break it up nicely too. What jerk knocked over the fire hydrant though? Quote

Vindicare Posted October 22, 2019 Posted October 22, 2019 Action packed! I love all the greenery. I like the yellow window section, is that 2x2’s & 1x2’s? Looks great. Quote

Romanos Posted October 25, 2020 Author Posted October 25, 2020 City skyline of NY is finished 6x 2 meters, now let's see how to stick it to the wall. The attic immediately looks better and when the city is photographed it looks better;) The plan is to make a background for each shelf depending on the theme. Quote
Romanos Posted August 7, 2021 Author Posted August 7, 2021 I expanded the tables and turned the buildings. Now there are places in a large park and square. 1 more row of buildings is coming. So far only a couple of pictures of the new park. There's still a lot of work to do - I have to make the lake not just a blue plate. Quote
Johnny1360 Posted August 7, 2021 Posted August 7, 2021 Amazing dedication there, looks really good and words could hardly describe just how epic your layout has become and growing I'm sure. Strangely the one question I have is how do you deal with dust? Quote

TX, city will grow more now and only space is limit ;) Standard brush;) if I don't put anything new in the city for a long time, then I cover it with a light cloth that covers salad against frost. 10x2.5 meters. Romanos Posted December 7, 2021 Author Posted December 7, 2021 This year I set out to put together small creations for the shop window where I work. So here’s something convenient that I’ve put on now. Every week a new creation until Christmas. Quote
Romanos Posted April 1, 2022 Author Posted April 1, 2022 New city block, NY. From now on i will only do blocks from city from RL world- Havana-Amsterdam- Paris-London ;) Quote
Romanos Posted September 9, 2022 Author Posted September 9, 2022 After Havana and New York, I took it easy on Amsterdam. First, I finally lifted the panels from the table, to get the canal and the beach 4 bricks lower. I assembled the canal and made 6 bridges - 2 for trains, 1 road and 3 for pedestrians. The plan is to go to Venice on the other side of the channel. So far I managed to make 2 32, 2 more are needed. Due to the expansion of the buildings, I reduced the warehouse that was at the end of the city. Facades give me a lot of problems since they are quite simple, the only place where you can do more is the fronts of the roofs - you can really do anything. Now comes the details, shops, cafes... Romanos Posted November 28, 2022 Author Posted November 28, 2022 (edited) Something for the holidays, for my brother who is coming home soon. Inspired by this song I always try to display something in the shop window where I work. Edited November 28, 2022 by Romanos Quote
Romanos Posted December 27, 2023 Author Posted December 27, 2023 (edited) Merry Christmas everyone and a happy New Year 2024. As everyone brags about their winter villages, here is a part of mine that I exhibited in the elementary school where my daughter goes. I'm limited by cover space, so there's plenty left for the 2024 winter village. As always, I put too many minifigures, but I like that it's cheerful and has a lot of fun scenes.
