iamded Posted November 17, 2007 Posted November 17, 2007 I spotted something I wanted to buy from Bricklink, but I've no idea how it works. Do different people have different preferations of payment? I wanted to buy some torsos from Fedibeka, but he lives in Hungary, and I'm in New Zealand. I assume he doesn't want NZ dollars either. 8-| I'm completely new to buying online, so all help is appreciated. Oh, and please redirect and close if necessary. Thanks. ~Peace
Eurobricks Emperor Bonaparte Posted November 17, 2007 Eurobricks Emperor Posted November 17, 2007 Each Bricklink shop has a "Splash Page". Here you normally find all this practical info. If the info is not there, you can always sent an email to the owner of the shop. I often do that for shipping prices when I buy a big/heavy box.
KimT Posted November 17, 2007 Posted November 17, 2007 Well most shops on Bricklink require payment via paypal.com So first thing is to set up an account and then place an order in a Bricklink shop that allows paypal payment. Good luck and happy shopping KimT
Dfenz Posted November 17, 2007 Posted November 17, 2007 The guy takes euro or US dollars in addition to Hungarian currency. Paypal is usually the most convenient method of payment for international orders although it costs more in some instances. For example it looks like this seller charges an additional 5% for paypal payments. As always you will need to build in the shipping, handling, and paypal fees to the net price to establish whether you are getting a good deal. I've used this Bricklink shop without incident. David

iamded Posted November 18, 2007 Author Posted November 18, 2007 Thanks for the help guys! Minimun order, 5 bucks. Hm. The stuff I was planning to buy adds to $1.69. I'll just have to add legs and heads then. :-P First I need to set up a pay-pal account. ~Peace
