TheGlynreaper Posted March 17, 2016 Posted March 17, 2016 okay I know this is likely the wrong area to discuss this but who here remembers the awesome Mighty Max Toyline and animated series from the 90s I was thinking about craggers swamp hideout and the upcoming jestros volcano lair realising with a few tweaks they would make excellent MM playsets I know its unlikely LEGO will get the licence but making my own mocs will do it for me Quote
Captain Britain Posted March 17, 2016 Posted March 17, 2016 I used to absolutely love Mighty Max as a kid! Now you've mentioned it I'm looking it all back up on Google... ahhhh love it! I'd certainly pick up a Mighty Max set if they did it! Skull Mountain anyone? Quote
Jayoheazy Posted March 17, 2016 Posted March 17, 2016 I'm in the same boat. Absolutely loved the series as a kid but sadly never could afford the toys. I would totally buy every set they made if ever it becomes a theme. Quote
spzero Posted March 17, 2016 Posted March 17, 2016 MM would be great especially using the minifigures trophy as a figure then you could make small play sets on a micro scale Quote
notpennysboat Posted March 19, 2016 Posted March 19, 2016 Oh great, I still have mine on books in my bookcase! It's the snake with Egyptian mummy and Scorpio, I was playing so many hours with this. That was 24 years ago (1992 on the toy), the tv series was great too. There also was mini toys, as gift in McDo's happy meal for kids. Actually, the one I have could easily by done with red & green snakes, a mummy and a scorpio Quote
Hoschiebaer Posted March 19, 2016 Posted March 19, 2016 i used to look at the MM sets in a store for hours back then. i got the spider play-set and i guess 2 of the smaller orc-heads. never watched the show, though ;) by that time i was getting more into star wars - i have some of the micro-machines play-sets (Stormtrooper Head, C3P0 and Endor) and lots of fighter/figure addonsets. switched to buying the bigger Hasbro figures shorty after, when i was in the us on vacation. i used to "raid" every toy store with my brother, hunting down the figurines. MaasEffekt Posted March 19, 2016 Posted March 19, 2016 I loved Mighty Max! I still have Skull Mountain, and Mighty Max Defies the Dread Star playsets, and a few others in neat condition of course. Quote

TheGlynreaper Posted March 20, 2016 Author Posted March 20, 2016 now im not starting anything here Hinckley but I don't see why we have to be so perfect with punctuation and capitalization on here they are only harmless forum posts people can read it my posts clearly Quote
Peppermint_M Posted March 21, 2016 Posted March 21, 2016 Nope, the rules are there so that we can all understand each other. Some people do not speak English as a first language, so proper spelling, punctuation and capitalisation are a must. I know I'm in Wales, but they certainly taught us how to write correctly, so it shouldn't be impossible for you. Also, arguing with a moderator sort of is "starting something". We aren't asking for a yes sir no sir three bags full sir, but it isn't too much to ask for you not to argue with staff. We're like the stewards at an event, keeping things nice and organised as best we can so everyone can enjoy themselves. Have fun on the forums, but remember you agreed to the rules and guidelines when you signed up. Quote
TheGlynreaper Posted March 23, 2016 Author Posted March 23, 2016 nope I strongly disagree there as my English grammer is great so you have no right to question that and how come no other new members got the same treatment just because im new doesn't give you the right to treat me like garbage Quote
PenPlays Posted March 23, 2016 Posted March 23, 2016 (edited) nope I strongly disagree there as my English grammer is great so you have no right to question that and how come no other new members got the same treatment just because im new doesn't give you the right to treat me like garbage This is what you see: Nope. I strongly disagree there, as my English grammer is great. You have no right to question that and how come no other new members got the same treatment? Just because I'm new doesn't give you the right to treat me like garbage. This is what the rest of us see: nopeIstronglydisagreethereasmyEnglishgrammerisgreatsoyouhavenorighttoquestionthatandhowcomenoothernewmembersgotthesametreatmentjustbecauseimnewdoesn'tgiveyoutherighttotreatmelikegarbage Now, I will say that you aren't the first new user, and certainly not the last either, to be directed by Mods to fix up their *grammar. Many, many people have been addressed, and many have tried their hardest to adapt. Plenty of those people are still around today, and are enjoying the fun conversations that we have on this forum. And the coolest part is, is that we're from all over the world, yet one language is connecting us. Good grammar is more of a tool so that all English speakers can enjoy this site, whether they were born speaking/hearing the language or not. Edited March 23, 2016 by Penkid11 Quote
GallardoLU Posted March 23, 2016 Posted March 23, 2016 (edited) Why we need commas: Because “I like cooking, dogs, and kids,” Is not the same as “I like cooking dogs and kids” Edited March 29, 2016 by GallardoLU Quote

Please don't do that. Quote
WhiteFang Posted March 24, 2016 Posted March 24, 2016 Mighty Max. Well, it is not possible to see Bluebird Toys being integrated into LEGO though. It was marketed to boys, while Polly Pockets was targeted at girls. It is fun to see microscale figs in pocket sets like Doom Dragon, Ice Mountain, Werewolf Space, etc. I still keep all of those. The slightly bigger ones like Magma and Skull Mountain. Extremely fun to play with. I used to combine them with my Micro Machines stuff altogether. It was the good old 1990s where toys are really meant for playing, unlike now. I stopped Mighty Max after the first wave and the classics are good enough for me. nope I strongly disagree there as my English grammer is great so you have no right to question that and how come no other new members got the same treatment just because im new doesn't give you the right to treat me like garbage This is last warning. TheGlynreaper Posted March 29, 2016 Author Posted March 29, 2016 all im saying is I thought I wrote it pretty well that everybody can understand , and I feel just because i'm new here I am being treated harshly and victimised for no apparent reason Quote
TheGlynreaper Posted March 29, 2016 Author Posted March 29, 2016 okay I see your point GallardoLU but I think it would be easier to tell people their mistakes in grammer in a nicer way Quote
GallardoLU Posted March 29, 2016 Posted March 29, 2016 okay I see your point GallardoLU but I think it would be easier to tell people their mistakes in grammer in a nicer way yeah you're probably right Glyn. I thought I was being cute with it but I can see how from your side it's a bit obnoxious. (I removed the image but left the text so as to not confuse things further) Quote
