Wolf04 Posted March 23, 2005 Posted March 23, 2005 Army!!! Army!!! I can make my own Liberation Army and kick Iraq's and the US's megablocks!!! Excellent. I could rule the world then...well the LEGO world anyways. I could drop nuclear bombs and have little LEGO terrorists running around blowing themselves!!! Quote

ROFL!!!! litte terrorist figs, I could just imagine, straping a little bomb on his back and putting him in my town... BOOM!!! HAHAHA! Quote
Athos Posted March 23, 2005 Posted March 23, 2005 Johnny Thunder or Other. I'd love to see a new theme from Lego, or at least one that is done right. Safari or Zoo might be good. Or Greek/Roman. Or Arabian Nights. Steve Quote
xwingyoda Posted March 23, 2005 Posted March 23, 2005 I voted for Pirates (because I always loved this theme, and because I came back to lego only 2 years ago, I don't have much sets). But also a History line would be great, roman legions ;) & WWII (recreating "a bridge too far" :o ) And a new maritime theme would be great (divers, fishermen...). Quote
snefroe Posted March 23, 2005 Posted March 23, 2005 i'd have to go for a new, sophisticated space theme... there will be no space/science fiction theme after star wars is gone and that would really ruin my day... Quote
V()()D()() Posted March 23, 2005 Author Posted March 23, 2005 I just remembered that old aquazone series, those were pretty cool! Quote
Governor Mister Phes Posted March 23, 2005 Governor Posted March 23, 2005 I voted for Pirates (because I always loved this theme, and because I came back to lego only 2 years ago, I don't have much sets). LONG LIVE THE PIRATES!!! I only came back to Lego in September 2003 so thats a bit under 3 years, but in that time I've managed to acquire 95% of the original Pirate sets. Quote
xwingyoda Posted March 23, 2005 Posted March 23, 2005 Pretty impressive there laddy ;) Godd luck for the remaining 5% :-D My spirit lies in your noble quest, savy ;) Quote
Wolf04 Posted March 23, 2005 Posted March 23, 2005 But imagine how popular Army sets would be and if the LEGO team would be smart (which they aren't), they could have released the sets in 2001 after the 9/11 attack. People would practically run to the stores to buy those little Bin Laden or terrorist minifigs to burn them. Even the poor Iraqi qould be running to the stores to buy and burn the little Bush or "America's Proud Army" minifigs. Damn, they just have to release quality army sets. You could re-create famous WW scenes or other things. Wow, just imagine....4783 Airplane Hijacker - The terrorist has passed the airport security gate and he is ready to blow the plane in mid-air. Will the army be able to stop him in time? Includes 5 mini figs plus 2 terrorists (and they could have light up lights, so when they do blow up, the lights could flash). Quote
sam89 Posted March 23, 2005 Posted March 23, 2005 I think if we ever did get army sets (which we won't ;) ) they definitely wouldn't be based on actual Armies and events. They'd probably just be a random amry theme (with no terrorists ;) ) Quote
Wolf04 Posted March 24, 2005 Posted March 24, 2005 But I can always hope... I can just see one day, Bush taking over all the toy companies and he modifies all the toys including LEGO to just have army sets to promote to get into the army...that would be jokes!!! Quote
gylman Posted March 24, 2005 Posted March 24, 2005 Although I must say I never saw the appeal, my kids are mad for Johnny Thunder's adventures. They play games with the legos, while I just like to build. I've had to speak with an Australian accent for entire days at a time. Also the web site has excellent tie-ins for Adventurers, which really helps keep the kids' interest leve. Me, I'm a castle man myself, but that theme appears to be dead for now. It's been dead for quite some time, really (since 6090 I would say). So, on behalf of my kids I voted for Johnny and his crew. Quote
V()()D()() Posted March 24, 2005 Author Posted March 24, 2005 Huge News- New Theme, Lego Terrorists!!! Sets- Street Bomber-$7.99-78 pieces Car Bomber-$15.99-152 pieces Airplane Highjacker-$29.99-206 pieces Osama's Cave-&39.99-379 pieces More to come j/k Quote
WesternOutlaw Posted March 24, 2005 Posted March 24, 2005 I vote to keep politics and present day armies out of Lego forums. Quote
Akkhraziel Posted March 24, 2005 Posted March 24, 2005 Wow...a Halo theme could be really sweet. But I've always been partial to the ninja sets. Tough call for me. Akkh Quote
The Middleman Posted March 24, 2005 Posted March 24, 2005 I think a new Ninja series would be tied with a new Pirate series for second place in my books. More old themes! Quote
V()()D()() Posted March 25, 2005 Author Posted March 25, 2005 Lego needs to make more Lego Legends! Quote
xwingyoda Posted March 25, 2005 Posted March 25, 2005 Yes more old themes ;) I really want a new redesigned Divers theme with an underwater sunken ruined gallion, an underwater secret cave... Also a new fisherman boat, a tug boat... Quote
The Middleman Posted March 25, 2005 Posted March 25, 2005 I don't know about Legends - they use the old colors. I'd prefer a new line of each. Quote
Endigo Vandane Posted April 7, 2005 Posted April 7, 2005 Space, the finest of themes. Although, having Link and Ganondorf in Lego would also not suck. Quote
jedijeff Posted April 7, 2005 Posted April 7, 2005 i voted video game :-D . that would be really cool if lego made halo2 :) Jeffrey Quote
Darth_Ewok Posted April 7, 2005 Posted April 7, 2005 After star wars is gone, we will need a good space theme Quote
The Middleman Posted April 8, 2005 Posted April 8, 2005 After star wars is gone, we will need a good space theme Yeah, I hope they'll do some good stuff. Quote
