Pate-keetongu Posted February 7, 2008 Posted February 7, 2008 I maybe buy scuba jet if it's cheap, lovely penguin's jet.... Quote
Batbrick Posted February 7, 2008 Posted February 7, 2008 You know, I believe you do. I would love to get a dark grey suit, I hope I'm right. Even better I hope we get that AND a BB suit. But still, I won't get my hopes up... BatbuggyWell, yes, so it's not brilliant is it? But, like Batbrick, I do quite like it. I mean, if we do get a new Batsuit that's quite cool, and it's a cheap set. The ice effect on Freeze's gun is also nice, and it gets some points for being a more original Bat-vehicle. I may actually keep the Batbuggy for the Batcave. Its very cute and funny, and I might mod it into a high powered quad. Plus its a cheap way for another Freeze, I might get two because he has some great parts. Scuba JetAlright, nothing new, but the picture does look a bit clearer. Penguin's sub's actually quite nice, and Robin's jetsub isn't bad either. Awww, I like the Scuba Jet the most. We finally get another Robin vehicle. This is still my least favourite of the sets, but I do relish the thought of a new Robin vehicle :'-) TumblerAgain, nothing new, but I don't mind it. So it's not perfect, but with a bit of work it could be pretty good. And the ice cream truck is nice. Ultimately, even though there are no new characters, it is the Tumbler we are talking about, so a couple of mods and I'll be happy. Plus, Joker is holding something pink in that little pic, I hope its icecream. BatcycleNot really sure on the Batcycle itself, but the truck's nice enough. Weird, but quite cool. And Harley's *wub* especially with her enlarged hammer. No really, Harley's absolutely fantastic. I think the angle on which we see the cycle affects it too, much like the Sith Infiltrator last year, which looked strange on the box. I hope its like that Agents bike, as bad as that line admittingly is that bike is very nice. Plus, I can definitely see Harley driving something like that. Joker's style is stolen ice cream vans and such, but Harley is fairly kooky in that way. Plus the hammer's great. So, basically, all the sets need MOD work, quite a lot in some cases, but I relish the challenge, and can't wait to add these into my Batcave shelf, and finish it for this year (before changing it when next years sets come out :-| ). Don't dread the thought of a fourth wave though, even if you must constantly refit that Batcave. We NEED more characters. Hopefully we will get a Wave 4, and this mystery set Batbrick keeps predicting, just so we get a Gordon. Hopefully, but we've honestly pretty much found all the sets, so I won't get my hopes up. Perhaps it has already been mentioned, gentlemen, but have you noticed that the Batman Products icon has changed on the official site of TLG? What could it mean? ) *sweet* Hasn't changed for me, what does it show? Batbrick Away! >:-) Quote
The Penguin Posted February 7, 2008 Posted February 7, 2008 I mean this: It has changed, hasn't it? *wacko* Quote
Belloq Posted February 7, 2008 Posted February 7, 2008 Belloq, that's hilarious! :-D I like the Schwarzenegger switch! :-P Anyhoo, isn't it odd, though, that the Buggy set doesen't have a Mr. Freeze henchman following on a motorcycle? It's sad that the Joker is the only one with a henchman, and he only gets one. :'-( Thanks! *y* Doesn't the penguins face look kinda wierd? Maybe its distorted by the preliminary printing, but if kinda looks like the penguin now has sharp tetth, like in The Batman. Dunno, his smile does look somehow more...sinister :-) Quote
Batbrick Posted February 7, 2008 Posted February 7, 2008 I mean this: It has changed, hasn't it? *wacko* Its not like that for me, I think its a country thing. Thanks! *y* Doesn't the penguins face look kinda wierd? Maybe its distorted by the preliminary printing, but if kinda looks like the penguin now has sharp tetth, like in The Batman. Dunno, his smile does look somehow more...sinister :-) It does look like he has a wider smile a bit, though its too blurry to see any teeth. Maybe we might be getting different interpretations of characters? Sounds like a stretch, but it atleast explains why we are getting so many re-releases. Batbrick Away! >:-) Quote

I'm going to keep my fingers ( and toes crossed) so that we can maybe, yet improbably, get a new joker face that has just the slightest hint of a carved smile ;-) Quote

I'm going to keep my fingers ( and toes crossed) so that we can maybe, yet improbably, get a new joker face that has just the slightest hint of a carved smile ;-) Meh, I couldn't care less for a scarred Joker, totally not his style. I want a Joker in mid laugh with his mouth open and his face contorted into maniacal glee. He could also have a purple fedora, that would make my day. Batbrick Away! >:-) Quote

I'm sorry but, that just not Gordon anymore. Maybe a scarred joker would be kinda lame, but I do want one with a kind of londer smile. He looks like he just got hit in the nuts but is afraid to cry. Anyway, if they change the Penguin, they should give us a green Ivy. Quote

Anyway, if they change the Penguin, they should give us a green Ivy. Yes a trenchcoat would be lovely. However, I don't see how you can say "thats just not gordon anymore" seeing as Gordon in most incarnations IS an older man with white hair. He isn't plump as you say either. A Gary Oldman gordon would be boring, no trenchcoat, no interesting new face (they would just use the already existing one) and just a standard uniform. Batbricl Away! >:-) Quote
iamded Posted February 8, 2008 Posted February 8, 2008 Maybe a scarred joker would be kinda lame, but I do want one with a kind of londer smile. He looks like he just got hit in the nuts but is afraid to cry. Haha! That's hilarious! :-D :-D Anywho, I'm still waiting on a trench coat mold. That would make my Punisher perfect. :-D I don't see a difference in the Penguins face, but I don't really mind, I just want a Penguin minifig. *sweet* ~Peace Quote

Is it the two cheaper ones? Anyway, while I don't think Joker looks like he got hit in the nuts (if you do want to see that ), I would like another face.Oh, and iamded, how many Punisher versions do are you gonna make? :-P Batbrick Away! >:-) Quote

It is the cheapest after all, and there's a Castle chess set to get! X-D ~Peace Quote

I don't mean to offend, but I doubt you or me are goona get that chess set, unless you seriously keep every dollar you earn. I can imagine it being immensely overpriced, and not to mention shipping. Still, I say goodluck to you, I hope you succeed! *sweet* But still, back on topic, I hope the final versions contain SOME sort of surprise, I don't see how they couldn't given the relative lack of new figs. The Penguin Posted February 8, 2008 Posted February 8, 2008 Speaking of The Penguin.... I hope (if the do change the figure), we'll get a normal tuxedo jacket and perhaps a nice TNBA face! *wub* Remember the one? ;-) Quote

TNBA Penguin was one of the better parts of that show. Batbrick Away! >:-) Quote
Batbrick Posted February 9, 2008 Posted February 9, 2008 Batcycle- Interesting, I wonder if they are basing it on the movie version, Harley with Monstertruck and whacking hammers are kick megablocks!! A really cool set! The movie doesn't contain Harley Quinn, so it wouldn't be based off it. Go-cart- X-D Hilarious, I see a new batman suit in grey!! Hopefully it will be movie based :'-) You mean in dark grey? A grey suit is already released, a dark grey suit on the other hand *wub* I also hope that they will include the new batman suit in all four sets! You mean three sets, one is a Robin set. Still, I'm glad you have some enthusiasm, I really like these sets despite the lack of new figs. Batbrick Away! >:-) Quote
???theriddler??? Posted February 9, 2008 Posted February 9, 2008 I don't wanna disapoint you, but, the buggy has a black suit(i think), it's look like grey because, the light, or the flash, so i dunno, but i'm hoping on a new bat-fig! Quote
Brainbox Posted February 9, 2008 Posted February 9, 2008 Aww, no Penguin? But you have to, help me out here Brainbox would ya? Certainly. Reasons to get this set: A cheaper source for a Penguin, a cheaper source for a Robin, a new vehicle for Robin, a cheesy-but-cool submarine for Penguin, a number of brick-built Penguin which are really cute and the novelty value of a Batman set without a Batman. As for a Gordon fig, we want a modern comics Gordon, like so: This is especially important (to me) as the other figs are of modern versions of the characters- Tim Drake Robin and Nightwing for example. Quote
Mr Spielbrick Posted February 9, 2008 Posted February 9, 2008 Yeah, a Gordon is extremely welcome. And of course he should have white hair! That's how the Classic Comic Gordon looks, right? Plus, I -need- a LEGO trenchcoat. Could be reeeaaal sweet for selfmade minifigs like the Tenth Doctor from Doctor Who and Harmonica from Once Upon a Time in the West. Hm... thinking about his hair... Do we want him with a hat or with hair? Cause LEGO never did white hair, did they? For everything there is a first time, though. Here's hopin'! :'-) Quote

But now that we've got a fedora from Indy, TLC could give us a lighter-coloured one to match a trenchcoat for our hero-cop. Quote
