Brainbox Posted February 20, 2008 Posted February 20, 2008 :-D , yeah, or maybe has to flip it to decide whether to go to the bathroom, or when flipping it, it actually lands on its edge. :-D I didn't think of that, but it's just the sort of thing we probably would see in the game. This is true, i know when I'm beat. I guess my name just implies I know more X-D X-D :-$ Why do villains in Lego Batman have to write such things as "venom" (like here), or "fear ", (like in Batcopter) on their vehicles? ) For them not to forget? )))) *sweet* Another sly reference to the 60s TV series I see, when every one felt the need to label everything. :-D Robin has new hairpiece: I thought he did. But... is that hairpiece on right? Because it looks a bit lopsided. Either that or Robin's gone emo ;-) . Anyway, I'm not sure if I want a new hairpiece. I like the other one, the one he had in the Batcave. Still, doesn't matter, I'll just keep that one. Quote
Batbrick Posted February 20, 2008 Posted February 20, 2008 (edited) Another sly reference to the 60s TV series I see, when every one felt the need to label everything. :-D Yes, though I have no idea why Joker would want Venom. Still, it'll be good for Bane mocs. I thought he did. But... is that hairpiece on right? Because it looks a bit lopsided. Either that or Robin's gone emo ;-) . Looks like I was right about the new piece, like you I want the old one now, we can get tons of this one in the Agents sets. Lucky I already have two Robins, so I have two of that piece. Where did Chuck get that picture from? I haven't seen that one. Batbrick Away! >:-) Edited February 20, 2008 by Batbrick Quote
VBBN Posted February 20, 2008 Posted February 20, 2008 That looks old, but might be from the new agents sets. Quote

trooperdavinfelth Posted February 26, 2008 Posted February 26, 2008 Great gosh, Mutt's hair is everywhere! On at least three Agents, Mutt himself, and now Robin? I guess TLC fell in love with that hair... :-P Quote
Wout Posted February 26, 2008 Posted February 26, 2008 Robin has new hairpiece: -Chuck But I wanted robin with the old hairpiece :'-( Why? Lego Why? don't worry! In a week i'm happy again. ;-) Quote

The Penguin Posted March 3, 2008 Posted March 3, 2008 (edited) I hadn't seen it yet. Thanks!! *y* Man-o-man, I hope they make that Commish Gordon minifig... Yep! ) We can expect that, I suppose, since Harley Quinn was shown in the trailer and we got her in the new set! I hope it's GCP HQ. )))) Plus, Scarecrow fighting with his hat?! ))))) X-D Edited March 3, 2008 by The Penguin Quote
Two-Faced Batman Fan Posted March 3, 2008 Posted March 3, 2008 I haven't read all the comics really, but I thought Catwoman was never sent to Arkham Asylum. Am I wrong? :-/ Anyway, this trailer looks really cool and can't wait to play the game! Quote

Athos Posted March 4, 2008 Posted March 4, 2008 Oooh, I hadn't noticed Robin's new hair piece. I may have to pick up this set now. Steve Quote
Batbrick Posted March 4, 2008 Posted March 4, 2008 Absolutely right! ) Catwoman and The Penguin are perfectly sane. ) As well as Ra's, Black Mask, Firefly and etc....The only thing that bothers me about the Penguin in the game is that he's been done in his so-called "silver age' thug-like variant.... I prefer his modern enterpreneural image.... ) Oh, well! *sweet* Actually, Firefly is quite insane, originally he turned to arson for hire, but eventually he does it for nothing, out of obsession. He has a good arc in Knightfall with that, burning down all the places he never went to in his childhood. Anyway, I'd actually disagree there The Penguin, I think the Penguin in his game and set form is very high class. Its just that the game requires him to take a more formidable stance as an opponent I think, he still is quite un-thuggish and very much his modern self I'd argue ;-) To the Bricksignal! >:-) Quote
trooperdavinfelth Posted March 4, 2008 Posted March 4, 2008 I have to agree with Batbrick; The Penguin is most certainly classy in the game! At least, to the point where I remember him, which is pretty good. I just love the flick of the umbrella, and the explosion of the car! :-D They also perfected his waddle, as is seen in the trailer; The way he crossed a tightrope. Entrepeneurial people are those who are calm, controlled, and when they are entrepeneurial villians, very, very dangerous. :-P Thugs are rowdy, uncontrolled, and when they are thuggy villians, they usually go all out for death and destruction. X-D At least, that's how I see it. Quote

My bad. ) :-$ :-P As for The Penguin.... No doubt that he's wonderful and brilliant in the game! *wub* And I also love his image and everything.... But The Penguin going along the rope like some circus equilibrist or blowing up a police car himself?..... |-/ Well that doesn't seem quite noble to me.... ) :-D But I fully agree with you, Batbrick, that the game requires The Penguin to be exactly the same as he is shown in the trailer.... ;-) Entrepeneurial people are those who are calm, controlled, and when they are entrepeneurial villians, very, very dangerous. Thugs are rowdy, uncontrolled, and when they are thuggy villians, they usually go all out for death and destruction. At least, that's how I see it. Agreed here. ) So The Penguin is like that in TNBA or in my favourite "Night of the Penguin" comic. ) But, well, again I agree, gentlemen, that The Penguin in the game is just the one we all need! ) *sweet* Again.... No Harvey, no Riddler, no poison Ivy, no Bane and no Nigtwing.... :'-( Good day, gentlemen! *sweet* Quote

I've browsed, found a pic, then hit "add this attachment", but then nothing happens... Have you upoloaded it to brickshelf or something? That can help! And like the Penguin says, no sign of Two-Face, Riddler, Poison Ivy or Bane yet :'-( They said they had Manbat, so surely there would here? To the Brickmobile! >:-) Quote
The Penguin Posted March 4, 2008 Posted March 4, 2008 Today I was discussing the topic on one of the other forums, and some user there gave me a link on Wiki-page, where it was written that there are going to be 36 playable characters (18 heroes vs 18 villains, I suppose....) >:-) . Of course, Wikipedia is not the source I'd consider to be 100% true, but I wish that is so! *wub* Though, not quite lear where can they find so many heroes! ))))) :-D Quote

Of course, Wikipedia is not the source I'd consider to be 100% true, but I wish that is so! *wub* Though, not quite lear where can they find so many heroes! ))))) :-D Hmm, Black Suit Batman, Grey Suit Batman, Blue Suit Batman, Dark Grey Suit Batman, Only in game suit Batman, Robin, Aqua Robin (seen in trailer), Nightwing, Commissioner Gordon, Alfred, Bruce Wayne, Catwoman, Killer Croc, Two-Face, Joker, Penguin, Mr.Freeze, Poison Ivy, Scarecrow, Riddler, Bane, Harley Quinn, Manbat. Thats only 23, and judging from previous games I'd say there must be more! :'-) I have a theory for the missing villains too, the gameplay article describes the game as having six parts, each divided into 3 levels, which applies to both Good and Bad modes. We know that Penguin and Catwoman, and maybe Killer Croc is in one mode, and Joker and Harley in another. I think we are only seeing two or two and a bit modes! I think the later, or other levels, haven't been shown yet hence the lack of other villains. To the Bricksignal! >:-) Quote
Dadster Posted March 5, 2008 Posted March 5, 2008 There will probably be thugs (black/ white, purple, and blue tops) and police as playable characters as well. Maybe an Arkham Guard? Thanks for the help Batbrick! My Black Mask... Quote

No Harvey, no Riddler, no poison Ivy, no Bane and no Nigtwing.... :'-( Good day, gentlemen! *sweet* Thanks. *sweet* Now now then, there are 18 levels in the game. In each one, you use Batman and Robin for the good guy version. Then afterwards, you play through with two villians. We've seen the Joker and Harley Quinn, the Scarecrow and Catwomat(this I assume), the Penguin and Killer Croc, there're so many possibilities! We'll see Harvey, the Riddler, Poison Ivy, Bane, Nightwing, Mr. Freeze, and all those good guys! We haven't even seen Manbat yet and he's confirmed! I have high hopes for this game, and I sincerely believe all the villians we've seen and more will be in the game... ;-) So I'm assuming unless TLC reuses the same villians in different levels, we'll see at least 36 of them... X-O Oh, and Dadster: Try resizing that pic using Jasc Paint Shop Photo Album or any other photo album you choose. (I personally prefer JPSPA) Edited March 5, 2008 by trooperdavinfelth Quote
The Penguin Posted March 5, 2008 Posted March 5, 2008 Well, I personally hope that the game will follow the steps of LSW: The first part, the second part, complete saga! :-D And then we'll be having new sets based on the game! (Like Complete SW Saga battle packs.... Though not bp, of course.) So the Manbat has been confirmed? ( Missed that piece of news.... :-$ ) Will any of you, gentlemen, be kind enough to give me a link? ) Good day, gentlemen! *sweet* Quote
