trooperdavinfelth Posted March 5, 2008 Posted March 5, 2008 Well, I personally hope that the game will follow the steps of LSW: The first part, the second part, complete saga! :-D And then we'll be having new sets based on the game! (Like Complete SW Saga battle packs.... Though not bp, of course.)So the Manbat has been confirmed? ( Missed that piece of news.... :-$ ) Will any of you, gentlemen, be kind enough to give me a link? ) Good day, gentlemen! *sweet* It was Manbat and someone else, Nighthawk, I think. Nighthawk could be a mistake for Nightwing, I'm hoping! :'-) Linky Quote
The Penguin Posted March 5, 2008 Posted March 5, 2008 (edited) It was Manbat and someone else, Nighthawk, I think. Nighthawk could be a mistake for Nightwing, I'm hoping! :'-) Linky Thanks a lot! ) I too hope that Nighthawk is some kind of a mistake.... |-/ And I do hope that they will add some classical villains there, like Mad Hatter, for instance. ) :'-) As for the sets, I hope that Lego Batman will have at least 2 more waves plys to the already known one.... It seems that there are tonns of interesting locations in the game which could be converted in decent sets! ) *y* TLC, we are counting on you! *sweet* Edited March 5, 2008 by The Penguin Quote
VBBN Posted March 5, 2008 Posted March 5, 2008 Oh goodness, after inspecting these sets, I have found the need to buy two harley trucks for those wheels... My wallet is going to HATE me this year. Luckily, I have new storage shelves, so I am ready for the new year. >:-) Quote
???theriddler??? Posted March 6, 2008 Posted March 6, 2008 Look at this HD pics!!!!!!!!!!!!! http://www.allaboardtoys.com/lego/batman/ And we get a new costume!!!!!!!!! Quote
Batbrick Posted March 6, 2008 Posted March 6, 2008 Thanks ???theriddler???, much appreciated, tohse photos are lovely. Sigh, its just not the same without Brainbox, despite all his annoying puns, I miss him.... :'-( Anyway, whats up with Robin's boring hair! I want the other version back! Still, three of that new suit is fantastic, and that Batbuggy has nicer pieces than I though before, great parts package. To the Bricksignal! >:-) Quote
The Penguin Posted March 6, 2008 Posted March 6, 2008 Thanks, ???theriddler???! *y* I must say that it is definitely good that we're havcing new costumes, but I Agree with Datbrick, that we need Robin's "messy" hair back! |-/ Harley is nice, especially with that revolver! ) Oh, and that evil penguin's stiker has been altered too! ) *sweet* They made it less "evil"! ))))) Quote
natelite Posted March 6, 2008 Posted March 6, 2008 i don't understand the mr freeze set. supervillians and superheroes in toy carts? *wacko* maybe we can have super mario kart racing sets in the summer :-D :-D i'm cool towards these sets. either the vehicle is too big or too small. never just right. :-/ best is still the harley set with those enormous wheels, new MF and a cool bike. the wheels can be used for a nice apoc mecha/vehicle or a super space rover tank. as it stands though, harley's convertible 4x4 monster truck/tank doesn't do for me. the bike is still okay...though way too big for a street bike it can be used as a space bike or with some mods a futuristic mecha/suit bike, which suits the batman theme (armor clad futuristic vehicles). *y* Quote

Joebot Posted March 6, 2008 Author Posted March 6, 2008 Shouldn't the front wheels on the Tumbler be closer together? That looks odd to me. In general, these look like decent designs ... but I'm so bored of the Good Guy Vehicle vs. Bad Guy Vehicle pattern. I'd like to see more sets like Arkham and the Batcave. Harley looks awesome. What a great fig. Quote
???theriddler??? Posted March 6, 2008 Posted March 6, 2008 But do you know what are great is about the harley and penguin set, this time the villains vehicles are bigger! Quote
Batbrick Posted March 6, 2008 Posted March 6, 2008 But do you know what are great is about the harley and penguin set, this time the villains vehicles are bigger! I kinda agree here, atleast the size is more of a variation here, in the first and second waves it was always a big Batvehicle and puny badguy one, here we have two large Badguy vehicles. As for the Batcycle, it is that big for a reason, it is modeled off the Tumbler-like Batpod seen in The Dark Knight movie coming this year. To the Bricksignal! >:-) Quote
???theriddler??? Posted March 6, 2008 Posted March 6, 2008 Yes i know :-P but the mr freeze set, the vechiles are even strong :-) , but if the tumbler drives over the joker car, there isn't any joker car left X-D . Quote

Sorry, I don't get it, how is the Mr.Freeze vehicle strong? Its tiny, the Joker has a much better chance of surviving *wacko* Oh wait, do you mean evenly matched? I think you do, the Mr.Freeze set has same size vehicles pretty much. To the Bricksignal! >:-) Quote

Mr Spielbrick Posted March 10, 2008 Posted March 10, 2008 So this is what the commissioner Gordon minifig will look like? I could warm to this version, though I still would like a trenchcoat. Ah well, if TLC can't figure out how to do one, I won't be too sad. The face and torso on this Gordon really look the part! Job well done LEGO, now go make this minifig for an actual set! Quote

I too would be happy with that version, sure a trenchcoat would be better, but that face and torso is perfect. Though I would like to see them try a trenchcoat with that piece you posted earlier... And wheres Brainbox? I'm ready to post Bat Moc'sN'Mods Treat 3 but he's nowhere to be seen! :'-( To the Bricksignal! >:-) Quote

Wouldn't they have to do some sort of extended-cape for a trenchcoat? I can't see a trenchcoat being printed on the minifig... I don't think that face is perfect, but I'd really, really, really appreciate it if The Commish appeared in 3-D form. I'm imagining more smallish rectangular glasses ala Batman Begins. Quote

I don't see any in the past four pages. Did he post the Rex/Cody kama? That would work... 8-| Quote

Brainbox Posted March 23, 2008 Posted March 23, 2008 Yes! I'm back! It's been long enough frankly, and I've really missed this place. First we had computer problems, then the Firewall on the new PC wouldn't let me log in to anything. Suddenly, it's sorted itself with regards here, but I still can't log in to my BS it would seem :-/ Sigh, its just not the same without Brainbox, despite all his annoying puns, I miss him.... :'-( :'-) I didn't know you cared. But 'annoying'? That's correct. Also, the penguin hasn't been in Arkham either. He was locked up in an ordinary Prison (Blackgate, IIRC). Although you could argue that the Silver Age Penguin could have warranted a cell, what with his oft-used obsession with birds. And you're correct with Blackgate, btw. Unfortunately, the fact that I still can't log into BS means 'Bat-MOC Goody-Bag Part 3' will be delayed even longer |-/ But, on a related note, I've finally started my super-size Arkham, and realized I'm gonna need an awful lot of bricks... The Gordon fig from the game looks nice though. So I would've preferred a lighter grey, and a trenchcoat might've been nice, but he looks pretty good. And he's inside, so I'm stil holding out for a trenchcoat for the Batsignal scenes. As for the game trailer (I really have missed a lot, haven't I?), well, wow. It all looks really cool, especially the Catwoman/Batman cinematic which made me laugh. It appeals to fanboys, you see. The new HD pictures are also looking good, but not really anything we've not seen before. I do like that Batsuit though... Actually, now that I'm back... prepare to be punned! >:-) Quote
???theriddler??? Posted March 23, 2008 Posted March 23, 2008 WHOHOE!!!!! GREAT NEWS BATBRICK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! HE'S BACK! Quote

X-D Although you could argue that the Silver Age Penguin could have warranted a cell, what with his oft-used obsession with birds. And you're correct with Blackgate, btw. I never really cared for the less sane Penguin, but I do like that Lego Arkham has a cell for him. Perhaps if a set ever was made it would be merely Gotham Prison, thus allowing all sorts of other characters to be included? Unfortunately, the fact that I still can't log into BS means 'Bat-MOC Goody-Bag Part 3' will be delayed even longer |-/ But, on a related note, I've finally started my super-size Arkham, and realized I'm gonna need an awful lot of bricks... Oh, I was looking forward to that. In the meantime... :-P I'm planning to supersize my Arkham too, but I'm a bit scared of doing that, so for now I'm supermodding my 2005 police station to become Gotham City Police Department. Like the Lego Arkham it isn't based off much, but I have little extras like Mad Hatter in the holding cell and a Bane Wanted poster. Also some confiscated villain weapons, hope you don't mind me using that clever "folded Penguin umbrella" technique of yours. The Gordon fig from the game looks nice though. GREAT NEWS BATBRICK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! HE'S BACK! Aww, thanks :-$ You must see the culture and media forum, and then lego batman game play! In that case, I'm off for a look (well, once I've caught up). :'-) , I thought you'd gone forever... Never! Besides, Lego's for life, not just for Christmas. ;-) I never really cared for the less sane Penguin, but I do like that Lego Arkham has a cell for him. Perhaps if a set ever was made it would be merely Gotham Prison, thus allowing all sorts of other characters to be included? Me neither. I just thought I'd be difficult. X-D Oh, I was looking forward to that. Also some confiscated villain weapons, hope you don't mind me using that clever "folded Penguin umbrella" technique of yours. Now that I can upload my pics, I can finally post Bat-Moc 3. Obviously I've got to do all the photography, but I'll try and get it up as soon as possible. As for your GCPD and Part 3, I had a quick look the other day, but obviously couldn't post anything. Both look really ncie, and I'm off for a proper look as soon as I've finished here. I have to say, I didn't notice my umbrella in there. You have missed a lot Well, I've kept up with the frontpage news, but not really bothered to read the boards because I knew it'd make me wish I could post somthing. I see you've also got some more of those promised Bat-impulses up. I also see that I've managed to corrupt you into including some Kryptonite. Edited March 27, 2008 by Brainbox Quote
