Posted March 19, 20168 yr Hi everyone! I made this MOC inspired with Ninjago world ,which me and my kids like very much. Not sure if it's right section for place it here, so moderators can move it in right place) Main view: Small teahouse: Spring with fresh water from black rocks: Entrance: Rear view: Inside, 1st floor: Inside, 2nd floor, kind of living room: 3rd floor, place for meditation: Bonus pics: Here is 8k ultra-hi-resolution render by renderbricks.com - http://www.renderbri...amA_8K_Wide.jpg and video on vimeo https://vimeo.com/158908921 Here is 360 panoramic view by Nachapon http://sky.easypano....orth-44373.html Link on Mecabricks on this model, where you can look closer - HERE Thanks for your attention!
March 19, 20168 yr Very nice build here! I especially love the temple at night with the lights inside! But its not just the temple the grounds are very detailed as well! how many pieces do you think are here?
March 19, 20168 yr Wow that is a ton of pieces, I would buy that from you for $400! Once again very nice build
March 20, 20168 yr Amazing! wish one day Lego will sell sets like this, huge and extremely detailed. I like the small fountain area and how you used a trans blue bar to imitate water, nice trick. Also cool how you used studs to build up the pillars. The contrast between black, red, and brown, with highlights of gold and white, really good scheme here. I havw a few questions as well. Where did you get the golden beard piece? And did you already have these pieces before, or did you order them? Edited March 20, 20168 yr by gamejutzu
March 20, 20168 yr Very nice! A MOC more than capable of standing toe-to-toe with the Temple of Airjitzu!
March 20, 20168 yr I havw a few questions as well. Where did you get the golden beard piece? And did you already have these pieces before, or did you order them? He's using a pretty slick rendering program, but it's obvious the build is all digital, which explains the part recolors. Anyway, really nice MOC! One of the best temples I've ever seen. Nice job!
March 21, 20168 yr Author Thanks for your comments, guys!) Yes, it is all digital model, and i am kinda newbie in lego creations, just a couple of months when i start to buy some lego sets to my boy so maybe during my low expirience there are some bricks that has not their colors in real life, i'm very sorry about that(
March 21, 20168 yr Beautiful! I especially love the teahouse. Really creative roof construction there.
March 21, 20168 yr Beautiful. And the rendering is gorgeous. Did you maybe try with a bit more of (sand) colors ?
March 22, 20168 yr He's using a pretty slick rendering program, but it's obvious the build is all digital, which explains the part recolors. Anyway, really nice MOC! One of the best temples I've ever seen. Nice job! I knew something was off, but how can you tell this is completely digital? Is it because some part colors don't exist? Or does it just look unrealistic at all? If I didn't read "LDD" then I would have assumed it was real. So they built this in LDD, then took the build somewhere else to look all shiny with another program?

I'm not sure how many pictures you see of digital versus actual Lego models, but to me it's very obvious it's completely digital, even without the [LDD] tag...
March 22, 20168 yr Author What's that light grey ufo like part used in the spring? It's Technic, Brick Modified 2 x 2 with Pin Hole, Rotation Joint Ball Half (Horizontal Top) I'm not sure how many pictures you see of digital versus actual Lego models, but to me it's very obvious it's completely digital, even without the [LDD] tag... I'm working on that feeling now, we see digital mostly because of perfect aligning of parts and parts are perfectly without any scratches and so on) i'm trying to find out how to add some randomness in this stuff. BTW it looks way more realistic in link at the end of first topic (ultra hi-res link) I knew something was off, but how can you tell this is completely digital? So they built this in LDD, then took the build somewhere else to look all shiny with another program? Scheme is looking like this - you build your model in LDD, then import it at mecabricks site,(or you can build model on mecabricks without using LDD) then export it from mecabricks like 3D model so then you can open it in most of 3D software (3D Max, C4D, Blender, etc). Then it takes some time to tune up materials correctly to match original LEGO colors, reflections, specular, shadows, add some lighting and finally render it (it takes some time depending on size of model and scene setup) Thank you all for your opinions, i'm happy that you like it ) Edited March 22, 20168 yr by Red_One
March 23, 20168 yr I'm not sure how many pictures you see of digital versus actual Lego models, but to me it's very obvious it's completely digital, even without the [LDD] tag... I haven't really seen a digital Lego model that ever looked somewhat realistic (other than Lego CG game trailers). I guess I need to see more comparisons to tell. Taking a closer look at this, I now see small inaccuracies like how odd the gold and flame pieces look. However, the reflective properties of these pictures are so realistic looking, that's what must have gotten me. Edited March 23, 20168 yr by gamejutzu
August 2, 20168 yr Looking back at this, There are a few nitpicks i'd have if this was turned into a real set. The stud pillars look very fragile and sensitive. And the middle area with the bed and chests is too small to realistically access. If you ever make a remake or something similar, I these are some suggestions i'd give.
