Gulagurag Posted March 23, 2016 Posted March 23, 2016 [As this is my fourth free build of the month, I'd appreciate any approvals from non-Sea Rat players. This will be licensed as a Small Artisan property next month] This quaint little cottage is home to the Cassandra Tate, esteemed wood working artisan and sailor. She is known for her quick turn around, as well as her skill. She is best known for the lion’s head figure head that adorns the front of Athena’s Grace. The front of the building is adorned with a simple hobby flower garden where Cassandra grows roses and other flowers. She has also decorated the front of her home with the blue and yellow to show her support for the colony's “governing body”. Her cottage is well built with white stucco over grey brick and wooden window shutters that Cassandra opens during the day to let the sea breeze waft through her workspace. In the shop, she has crafting tools mounted on the wall, as well as a work bench in one corner, with different logs strewn about intermixed with her many projects she has on the go. Quote
blackdeathgr Posted March 23, 2016 Posted March 23, 2016 A nice house both outside and inside! OL approves Quote
CelesAurivern Posted March 23, 2016 Posted March 23, 2016 Lovely wood carvings. I like how you represent the wood in two tones. Yea, from corrington Quote
Ayrlego Posted March 23, 2016 Posted March 23, 2016 The tan works really well for the fresh carved wood look! I like the details inside the workshop. +1 from Corrington Quote
TitusV Posted March 23, 2016 Posted March 23, 2016 Lovely build! The outside is very clean, and I like the corners, te door, the Windows and of course the little "mosaic" SR flag. The inside is even better, that's a great representatation of a wood worker! Eslandola approces Quote
robinnilsson403 Posted March 23, 2016 Posted March 23, 2016 Nice build with a lovely interior! Oleon Aproves! Quote
Captain Becker Posted March 23, 2016 Posted March 23, 2016 Nice to see that Sea Rats are sometimes doing honest work. Anyway, great designed house! I really like the idea and the overall design and concept of this house. And the banner in front of the house is just great addition! Oleon definetly approves! +1 Captain Becker Quote
Phadeout Posted March 23, 2016 Posted March 23, 2016 That's lovely, the carved wood effect is great and the workshop seems well equipped. All in all very nice. Eslandola approves Quote
Fuzzy MacFuzz Posted March 23, 2016 Posted March 23, 2016 One Corrie approval The outside is solid but perhaps a little dull, except for that lovely shield, but the inside! Wow! It really looks like a woodworkers workshop, so many lovely little details to enjoy. Quote
Captain Braunsfeld Posted March 23, 2016 Posted March 23, 2016 Some quite nice elements in there! Approval from Eslandola Quote
Capt Wolf Posted March 23, 2016 Posted March 23, 2016 Great little build! I think these combo residence/artisan builds are perfect for the BoBS setting. I really like how you did the Sea Rat shield in the wall. And the woodworking details inside are well done. Eslandola approves! Quote
Darkdragon Posted March 23, 2016 Posted March 23, 2016 I love the flag you built into the wall. Quote
Jacob Nion Posted March 26, 2016 Posted March 26, 2016 The house is neat from the outside; but the real highlight is the work that's going on inside. I love how you used the tan areas to depict the inner fresh wood. That's a great effect. Quote
Gulagurag Posted March 26, 2016 Author Posted March 26, 2016 Thanks for all the comments and approvals. Going to think of how to improve my exterior design for future buildings. Quote
Kolonialbeamter Posted March 27, 2016 Posted March 27, 2016 Great details, love it! But as I'd say the same as everyone else, I'll cut right down to the essential: Another approval from Oleon Quote
Bregir Posted March 27, 2016 Posted March 27, 2016 Looking good inside and out. I too like the use of tan for the fresh wood. Great work. Corirngton approves! Quote
BrickOn Posted March 27, 2016 Posted March 27, 2016 Corrington approves. I really like the different ways you've made the wood, both carved and uncarved. Quote
