Nice set, though I am one of few who does not really like the new face of Anakin (nice hair!) but the face.... I don't think it will fit the other minifigures of the serie.

Are those two yellow 1x12 (!) pieces I see used as a 'chassis' ?? Or did I miscount them?

Well, I still hate they they added another group of minifigs with this animated style, but there's nothing I can do about it, so I guess I'll just have to live with it. I do thing they hair is a great improvement over the original Ep III Anankin style.

I think the ship looks great and I can't wait to see this new series!

I'm with you on the hatred of the animated-style face. It's very un-Legoish. I think it looks more like those Minimate figures.

It seems like Lego is really trying to separate these Clone Wars sets through the branding and mini-fig design, almost like it's a new sub-theme.

I don't like the Anakin fig, but if you ask me the entire highlight of this set is that hairpeice! *wub*

Thanks for the review. I have to say, I was surprised to see it come from a Brit, what with our somewhat poor reputation for getting the new sets anywhere near the release date.

However, it matters not. I think it definitely looks a better set than I originally thought- the original pics didn't really do much for it. I'm not that sure about the Anakin face, but I think it'd be one of those things that'd grow on me if I decided to get it. I do like the hair though.

I'm not that familiar with the Clone Wars stuff (I've never watched it), but I think I might get this anyway. I mean, Indy and EF come first, followed by a few other sets, but this is a possibility. More so now than before I read this actually.

It's LEGO. Of course there's something you can do about it. Just swap the head.

Thank you for this nice review, I can see interesting bits and pieces. I was a little bit disappointed with the new batch of minifigs (new look, eyes, etc) but I like them every time I see them... too dangerous for my wallet T-T

Thanks, that's exactly what I needed to see.

And I'm happy with the fact that it's smaller... even if just a bit...

I found the Ep-2 version quite big for 1 fig 8-|

That's why I was happy with Anakin's ep3-version... even though the shape was totally different of course...

Anyway... I'm really gonna buy this one.... and like *vader* & *yoda* I'm beginning to get used to the face as well :-)

I was wondering when someone would notice the missing R2 unit and the dust, that ship has been in storage for quite some time and it was only after i took the pic that i noticed the r2 unit was missing......

It's ok now as i have found and put back the r2. X-D
