Brickadier General Posted December 1, 2007 Posted December 1, 2007 Thanks for posting this. For all the figures and special parts it comes with, it certainly looks worth the money. And I'm sure the future sets will be the same as well. Quote
Big T Posted December 2, 2007 Posted December 2, 2007 Thanks for the great pictures, I'm officially sold, I'm going to go through an expensive period with lego. But there is no way I'm missing getting such an awesome Jones Snr minifig! The rest of the set is pretty sweet. Simple and effective! Quote
Brickmaster Posted December 2, 2007 Posted December 2, 2007 Although I have no use for them, I have to pick up a set of bikes, simply from them being so cool *wub* Quote
Lt. Veers Posted December 2, 2007 Posted December 2, 2007 Coooollll!!! Looks awesome. Is the whip poseble? Yah, nice figs.-ZotS I thought that was already answered, but the answer is no. Quote
yellost Posted December 2, 2007 Posted December 2, 2007 Just plain AWESOME!!! I want ! But I do have one thing to say : Sinner's still got the best bike :-P Quote
Scouty Posted December 2, 2007 Posted December 2, 2007 I went to TRU in a hopeful quest to find one. The quest has failed, but I did see some new sets like the Police Helicopter set. Quote
NATO93 Posted December 3, 2007 Posted December 3, 2007 Nice update Hinckley! !!! Important !!! Notice how ever so closely TLC is getting from making a WW2 LEGO? Although, i have heard that they have said they wouldn't. Just look at the German motorcycle unit torso... ITS PERFECT!!! *wub* I hope they make WW2 LEGO :'-( ... By the way what does TRU stand for? TRU stands for Toys R' Us. Quote
Scouty Posted December 3, 2007 Posted December 3, 2007 They wont be making WW2 Lego, trust me ;-) . Quote
Big T Posted December 3, 2007 Posted December 3, 2007 They wont be making WW2 Lego, trust me ;-) . I doubt they will too, but I don't mind if they keep pushing the boundaries with stuff like this. The two vehicles in the other Indy set (name escapes me, but you know the one I'm talking about) are very similar, and with the torso's and that, they're pretty close to the mark. Now we just need and Indy tank set where Indy was fighting on top of Quote
Scouty Posted December 3, 2007 Posted December 3, 2007 There is certainly a LOT of potential for Nazi sets. Even though Indiana Jones hates theses guys X-D . Quote
Big T Posted December 3, 2007 Posted December 3, 2007 There is certainly a LOT of potential for Nazi sets. Even though Indiana Jones hates theses guys X-D . Well Luke was never particularly found of Stormies, but we are getting plenty. We can only hope for a Nazi (or Notzi, whatever you want to call them) battlepacks haha! As long as they're not with a dropship :-| Quote
Scouty Posted December 3, 2007 Posted December 3, 2007 I think that would be pushing it. Unless they put Indy in it, it would be looked on as a Nazi battle pack. What they should do is do a set that has the ratio of three nazis to one good guy. So if we have Sallah, Marion, and Indy, we should have nine nazis X-D ! Quote
Big T Posted December 3, 2007 Posted December 3, 2007 Yeah good point, plus a 3 to 1 ratio wouldn't be too bad really. I mean if Indy had his bag then I wouldn't mind getting a few more of them and whatnot. So much potential for this line though, lets hope they keep going strong. Quote

So much potential for this line though, lets hope they keep going strong. __________ I would agree with a three to one ratio as well, seeing as Indy was always overwhelmed but not overwhelmed like the rebels were against stormtroopers. To the Brickmobile! -Courtesy of Exo-Builder who made it! >:-) Quote

Well, I think the guy that Indie fights in raiders (who gets chopped up by a prop) would automaticaly count as two figures. I just can't wait until the second wave. Quote

Scouty Posted December 3, 2007 Posted December 3, 2007 So, Hinky, how are you enjoying your motorcycle set? Running around the house with a motorcycle in hand? Quote
Zzz Posted December 3, 2007 Posted December 3, 2007 Thanks a lot for the review, hinckley!!! I enjoyed reading it and yor pics are cute and sharp as usual!! *wub* I went to the lego store and asked and there is no chance for a release earlier than march in europe.... they told me... :-( I already feel such a lack in my life... I want IndyLego...... :'-( Quote
hollisbrick Posted December 3, 2007 Posted December 3, 2007 So, Hinky, how are you enjoying your motorcycle set? Running around the house with a motorcycle in hand? haha who wouldn't, can't wit til i do (less than a month *y* ) Quote
Tanotrooper Posted December 3, 2007 Posted December 3, 2007 sadly the german torso isnt in this years bulk order... But I will get plenty of sun hats and dark tan bodies! And of course tan caps to replace the motorbike helmet. The german torso is only a eagle away from being a WWI DAK soldat. I crown the german soldier from the truck chase set the best lego minifig ever made. TT Quote
trooperdavinfelth Posted December 3, 2007 Posted December 3, 2007 Yeah, that is a really nice figure. I just wish they'd given some of them helmets, but I'm glad enough they made them such nice torsoes! *wub* Quote
