The weapon is secure again. Do we need another test? I don't think there is another suitable planet... the cooling ducts were repaired and all is as it should be. I believe the weapon will work. The rest of the station is well on the way to completion... the extra slaves provided by General Casewindu were most satisfactory; they merely needed a little... encouragement... from our Shadow Troopers...

It will be ready in at least 2 months...

I have had a tip-off from an agent in the Outer Rim that a minority group are plotting against the Empire... he believes they are planning to infiltrate an Imperial Base on Rhen Var. I have sent a Landing Craft to investigate.

IMP Holonet: Lord *vader* , my initial analysis of the situation is complete. The advanced scout team confirms Admiral TK's assessment as well. I have concluded that this may be a splitter cell within the Rebel Alliance, a faction whom could prove more divisive than previously assessed. Whats more, they have learned about the existence of the "asset". I'd advise you to increase security on the "asset". I am making available one legion of the 501st for permanent deployment. Since I will be unavailable to directly command that legion, I ask that you to promote a competent commander for their over-site. I have learned the identity of the assalant... One Kyle Katarn, but before my men could capture him, he apparently attempted a suicidal escape from the "installation", and succeeded. I have a heavily modified TIE/in in pursuit, but unfortunately, with the a lack of hyperdrive, it will be impossible to maintain the pursuit.

We've received information from a group of Bothans sympathetic to the Rebellion. In anycase, they have released some terrible news.

The Empire has built a large, destructive weapon. On account of Veer's report, I suspect that this large weapon is what attacked you, or ships from it. The name of the space station is a little hard to understand, but here is the message:

ksssh...We've....some infor...tion...of a...spa.e.....ation. The name....app..rs.....to be....D..ath...S...ar...The we...on...is very....destructive. We cannot con....ude...its force....but it is to be notioned....carefully. That's all that we...re..ort....kssssh.

From what I make out of it, the name is 'Death Star'.

Men I have heard of Lord Sylps departure and am greatly dissapointed that you let him leave. However you can both redeem yourselfs by following him.

All imperial ships have tracking beacons that can be traced and the ship the traitor is piloting is no exception. As I am in a good mood after my time off you can both receive tie interceptors, so as to capture the traitor more quickly.

IMP Secure Holonet: Lord *vader* ; We believe we have the homing beacon signal from the traitors TIE/in... It appears to be on a trajectory that would place it somewhere in the Yavin System. I am not aware of any civilized colonies in the area, except from an old Republic Archaeological dig in that sector some time ago. What I mean to say is that we have no idea why the traitor would be headed there. My recommendation would be to alert any Admirals or Generals in that sector to be on High Alert. Also, I am dispatching a fighter squadron of reflec TIE/in's to "observe" our prey at a very safe distance. We suspect now that the traitor might have assisted Kyle Katarn in sabotaging the "Asset." I will use... disgretion...
