Please help me to decide.

EDIT: I just bought King's Castle Siege and the Skellie Tower thing at TRU for $125. (They had a sale.)

BUT my grandma is giving me $100 more to spend.

So, I now have $125.

i sugest the crossbow attack 3 or 4 times, and at least catapult defense and skeleton prison carrage, but also save some and wait a month and get orc/troll/dwarf stuff

It all depends on what you have for parts already, but the King's Castle Siege is great for parts and a fun build/nice model. That and a Dwarve's Mine. I have these two sets sitting upstairs in my LEGO room side by side and they are the best sets currently available with good value for your money. Dwarve's Mine is no longer available on S@H...

The smaller sets are great if you want more figs for reasonable prices.

TRU in the USA has BOGO right now...you could have your cake and eat it too if Castle is included in that.

Castle Siege and Dwarf Mine. You'll get all the Castle stuff except for the Wizard and Princess.

I think I might just build a huge army... (My birthday's coming up in a few months anyway... so money isn't a problem)

Plus, that's not even including money from my relatives... which will be at least $50 just from my other grandparents.

Oh, BTW: Why does everyone like the dwarven mine? It's cool, but I don't really like it.

It comes with a lot of figures (seven) for a $50 set, which is good for an army builder. Plus you get some great new beards and helmets. Lots of weapons and shields. Gold and silver ore is also nice. I like it because it has doors and I use doors a lot. Personally, I think its the best of the new Castle line.

Its also an exclusive, which means it will likely be difficult to obtain if you miss it now.

hmm, i think it's a pretty poor decision though. you should maximize the BOGO 50% off. for $25 more (i.e. for $150), you can get 2 castle sets. even if you don't want the second, you can find a friend to sell or trade for the skeleton tower + a smaller set or two. but what is done is done. :-/

i usually buy multiples. >:-)

Why is the title of your thread $150 and your post says only $125? What did you buy inbetween typing the two? :-P Well, my suggestion would be the Dwarves' Mine, but since you've already said you don't like it, my suggestion would be to buy what you do like.

Perhaps if you tell us what you are considering, then those people who have the sets can reccomend which ones they like and why. :-)

I realized that afterwards... but my mom is teaching a new course (Calculus) at the Community College, and my dad's group has to ship his project thing for work December 17th.

I went to TRU yesterday and the BOGO sale only applies to four sets. I can't remember which ones, but they're not great. One is the Mars Mission Alien Mother Ship and one is the Aero Booster. I don't remember what the other two are, but they seem to be trying to get rid of certain sets for new ones... :-/

That's what I thought too!

BTW the four sets were:

Skellie Tower (forget the name)

MM Mothership

FIreboat

Aero Booster

BUT the guys at Brickset corrected me. Apparently, those are the ones they advertised, but it works on ALL lego items.

Also, I just realized that the Skellie Tower was supposed to be on an island, which is why they have a ship.

But I refuse to buy that ugly ship!

For castle, I would wait and save so you can get some 2008 ones.
