If CM4Sci couldn't find the pics, then that means they are not in the internet for sure

He never said he couldn't find them. Just that they were probably in some secluded database or something.

It's possible he found them in a secluded database or something and isn't sharing them for reasons (Could be good or bad reasons. I have no way to know).

I'll just wait for something.

Call me the Super LEGO Sleuth!

But uh, yeah, nothing has turned up unfortunately. I'm sure we'll get something soon. :sceptic:

Drats. I was hoping you were just being secretive. Not as in secreting a gooey substance, but as in keeping a secret.

Just wanted to make sure no one thinks I'm weird for saying secretive or something. Pf. Secretive.

Yeah, we will probably see Ariel, although someone said there wouldn't be pairs for everyone. I wonder, if we do get Ariel, will she have the friends hairpiece? I think she would look odd, cause after all, that hairpiece was created according to the minidoll body.

I'm guessing if we get Ariel she will use Wonder Woman's new hair in red, it's quite a striking mould and would look great for her I think

But why, lego already has a special mold made just for Ariel.

We don't need Ariel. We already have her in Disney Princess.

That doesn't mean they won't reuse her. There will be reused characters, I thought that was inevitable.

I believe that the appearance of the princesses in minidoll form does not affect in any way their possible appearance in regular lego form. After all, LEGO knows the minifigure series and the friends/elves/whatever are targeted towards different audiences. I just think we won't be seeing that many (if any) in this first wave because those ladies already had a chance in the spotlight, and there are a lot other potential disney characters. So it's quite obvious they won't be like "Yass lez make more princesses"

And that new wonder woman hairpiece is a better option for Ariel IMO.

EDIT: I just saw a custom minifig from Dorayaki, and that ariel hairpiece does not look that bad on fleshies... but it definitely looks horrid on yellow, I don't know if it's the color contrast.

Sorry for any confusion - I did simply mean that finished pictures exist internally, which should be no surprise given that this series releases in a few months. Once finished pictures exist, I shouldn't think it would be too long before someone gets them somehow and puts them on the internet.

That's like saying we don't need Snow White because there is a Duplo figure of her. Minidolls are NOT just skinny minifigs, they are a completely different style of figure targeted at a specific audience, even if they are compatible with the same system. So yes, we do need an Ariel minifigure, especially since we're getting Ursula.

Could you provide a picture? It would be nice for all of us to see how that hair looks on a minifigure to decide whether it would make sense for TLG to reuse it.

Maybe we'll get King Triton instead.

That would be the laziest collectable minifigure since the recolor of the Man-Bat considering we already have a yellow version of him.

It's not Dorayaki's it's one I made earlier but it shows the hairpiece.

Personally I don't think the quiff comes out far enough, nor does it have enough definition to look like Ariel's.

Agree 100%

The Ariel we already have is a minidoll. We don't have a minifigure version yet. There is a huge difference. I'd love to see Ariel in this series.
