So he does have the laser but does he have the red button that actives the laser also his right dies it have the communication thing that opens and more importantly the star Command logo

So does Ursula have a matte finish or glossy on her tentacles? I keep seeing both.

Trust the pics, not the cgi

I'm definitely not bothered by the opaque grainy parts, we've been getting those for a while instead of the shiny (and heavier?) plastic parts. But I don't understand the usage of a black torso for Ursula, either, and I'm worried about Syndrome's hair color, it looks a bit weird. I like the detail put into the characters' faces :)

Wait a minute... the oversaturated images had a blind bag picture with Donald on it. This new slew of images has Captain Hook on the bag instead. Which one is the correct design??

Poor hook, just trying to fit in. Maybe TLG decided he was to scary for children? Or maybe they just thought having him on the bag would decrease sales? lol that's so weird.

If they thought he was too scary, why'd they make a minifigure for him?

It'd be cool if we say both variants in stores.

Probably differs by region, so North America might get one version while the UK gets another. Don't see any real reason why they would do that though.

Donald Duck is waaaaay more popular in some parts of the world than others, I wonder if it reflects that?

Could this person help me out? I can't find it any more and I'm making a review of the figs right now and looking for this to make my top banner.

Yep, correct. Donald is much more popular in Europe. Different bags per region.

I'd say the little green aliens are a bit more iconic here in the US than Chesire or Hook.

Then they wouldn't put him on the bag anywhere. The only real problem is his head, and without a nose print (which would also look bad) there's not a lot that could be done better.

If TLG are using different bag designs depending on region because of variations in the popularity of the characters, I wonder if the distribution per box will vary by region as well. The European box contains 3 Donalds. Perhaps the American box will have fewer making MIP Donalds in the American packaging more valuable than European ones on the secondary market.

I wonder if this trend will continue to regular CMF lines with regional packaging and frequencies based on localised market research. Hmmm....
