But it brings up an interesting thought concerning misprints and their perceived value. Is it really worth it? IMO, I would prefer a properly-printed Mickey in the first place, as misprints don't interest me. If I get a figure where the parts or printing are misaligned or not to my satisfaction, I buy another, and usually I am able to combine the parts of both figures to get one that meets my expectations. However, I can understand the frustration of wanting to have it right the first time, since buying multiple figures can add up... As Exetrius said, it's an unique minifigure And you can do wonders with that Mickey holding an axe or a knife , so it's a very useful misprint, not like this one Edited April 20, 20168 yr by Robert8
April 20, 20168 yr Can someone please post a picture of the new skirt piece just by itself along with the new tail piece?

April 20, 20168 yr How come they didn't use the toy story 3 mini figures? Is it because they want to stick close to cmf format? I don't like looking at them knowing better versions exist... But can't wait till may

Hopefully they will do the entire cast like this.
April 21, 20168 yr So angry! My Target in Mt.Kisco, NY has the figures in their offsite location but they called saying they can't ship it over as there is a May release date on it! Need them to forget about that haha
April 21, 20168 yr Sorry if it has been mentioned before but with 142 previous pages, checking through each comment is a daunting task. I was wondering if LEGO has commented why there has to be 18 figures in this Disney series? It's not as if they will not make any further Disney series so 18 HAD to be made this time? Just seems strange. It also means the orientation of the guide sheet is landscape rather than portrait which the OCD in me cannot overlook. Having said that, just got them yesterday and look better in real life than I had imagined with the exception of the Genie which looks just plain weird. All the other non-humans have molded heads so the Genie should also have one too. Can't see cost being an issue, how much more would it have added to production considering this being a HUGE licenced series!?

He looks fine, in my opinion.
April 21, 20168 yr Genie, Ariel, Ursula, Buzz, etc. all have essentially human forms (at least from the waist up), and therefore are treated here as human even though they're not, while all the characters with decidedly nonhuman heads (Mickey, Stitch, etc.) get specially molded heads. There's a consistent internal logic in this series which dictates which characters get regular heads and which characters get special ones. I think it's throwing some of us off because it's consistent only internally, within this one minifigure series, and not consistent either with the "rules" for what characters get regular vs. special LEGO heads in minifigure form outside this series, or with what characters get to use their human performers' actual faces vs. specially designed masks when portrayed at Disney parks, etc. I think it may have been done to emphasize that these are LEGO Minifigures of these classic Disney characters; hence they're as "LEGO-y" as possible, down to using the standard LEGO minifigure head for anyone human, or at least having a humanlike head. I think different logic would apply for some of these same characters in regular sets outside this series, as we've already seen with Buzz - I suspect any new Toy Story sets we get when the fourth movie comes out will go back to the specially-molded Buzz head element, even while probably using another new print scheme that differs from the printing on both this minifigure and the 2010 ones. Similarly, in the unlikely event they make some new minifigure-based sets from Peter Pan or Aladdin, I expect they'll go with new full head molds for Captain Hook or the Genie.
April 21, 20168 yr Who cares about consistent internal logic? I'd rather they threw logic out of the window and decided which minifigures need new moulds based on what would capture the character best. LEGO slipped up by not giving Captain Hook a new head mould.

April 21, 20168 yr Logic or not, this is how they've done them. The group of us on this topic obviously share differing opinions, and it's not going to help to continue expressing them in an effort to change minds. I'll agree Hook looks strange, but it's not unforgivable. Edited April 21, 20168 yr by 8BrickMario
April 21, 20168 yr I agree with 8BrickMario's statement (and opinion incidentally). We all have opinions, but at this point it's rather arduous to continue to bicker over Lego's decision (which we were not privy to) of molded heads vs. minifigure heads. Point blank, they went with the minifigure head. We don't need to continue to cry over spilled milk. Let's focus on the positives please--thanks!
April 21, 20168 yr found at toyworld stores in new zealand yesterday. a local fan group im in posted sightings/puchases.
April 21, 20168 yr Target in Mount Vernon, NY put their box out. I got my remaining 10, and between my brother and friend they got another 20. So about half a box left in the store I think.
April 21, 20168 yr Managed to find all but Captain Hook from the remaining I needed. Just decided to get him off Ebay because I can't bother to sift through the packs again. This is the first series I fully wanted and man is it tiring and expensive. For those of you who do this on the regular, respect. Edit: So I was buying these and the ones my friend wanted. Thinking I grabbed a Buzz Lightyear for her, I decided to keep it sealed as a surprise. To put down my suspicions I decided to open it and to my surprise it was Captain Hook! All after I already bought one off eBay. Hopefully the seller understands and gives me a refund. Edited April 22, 20168 yr by Neomars
April 22, 20168 yr I haven't gotten any nor do I even know if my town has any in stock but I'm aiming to get Stitch, Alice, Maleficent, Ursula, Aladdin, Peter Pan, and the Cheshire Cat, I think they're all pretty nice though; could do with more accessories, but still nice.

April 22, 20168 yr Oh wow! I wonder if Toyco will get/release their stock if they get stock soon. I want my box! What fan group is this? Edit: Mightyape have them in stock too!
