Seriously, let's not have the "this minifig looks fat" discussion again.

Ursula looks fat... :(

:P

Still looking forward to Stitch the most, and as I figured, all of the disconcerting face prints look fine in an actual picture. Can't wait for these!

A lot of great printed and bicolored arms and legs

But I'm really disappointed that Donald and Daisy have wrong eyes and no accessories...

The eyes they have are more like their "classic" look than the eyes in your picture. And those two don't really need accessories.

That said, I see from the images that it definitely looks like there are duck-tail elements in those two, but not mouse-tail ones for Mickey and Minnie. I would think the latter would be more important for realizing the characters properly than the former (though I'm aware Mickey and Minnie are often portrayed without tails; usually the rationale seems to be that they're contained in their pants or something, but Mickey's shorts seem like they wouldn't really be good for that...). I'm guessing it's a quality / safety issue, in that they probably decided they couldn't make a piece thin enough to look good while still being strong enough not to break, but it's still an Ernst disappointment. It's not enough of one to keep me from getting them, though.

Change of opinions. I still love Ursula, but Alice is now my favorite minifigure. The story has always been a favorite of mine, and Alice herself looks great.

So my top 3 are:

Alice

Ursula

Maleficent

These pictures make them look SO much better. Glad to see Donald and Daisy getting tail elements and Alice getting a plastic skirt and Eat Me cookie.

Still disappointed to see Ursula's legs containing her belly, even if it is more accurate to her character and the sculpturing looks well-done. The boobs/belly limits its use considerably... I am also concerned at the general lack of accessories, but the characters are still effective without them.

Interestingly enough, they have new print techniques going on here - look at Aladdin's and Captain Hook's feet - the foot is printed on with the white being underneath. Lots of great prints in general, especially with Buzz, Cheshire Cat, and Syndrome.

EDIT: The Pizza Planet Alien's feet - I wonder if its print or part of the molding?? Maybe we can now have barefoot short legs??

The promotional polybag of Rocket Raccoon was the first short legs to have printing around the feet. I'm sure they are going to keep that technique.

Well, they obviously didn't base him off of that. They based him off of his recent look, same goes for daisy.

Donald and Daisy are based off their current characters: http://mickey.disney.com/donald & http://mickey.disney.com/daisy

The eyes are spot on. The only accessory missing is Daisy's bracelet.

Wow, Maleficent is great! I really like Alice now too. All of the girls really shine in this line, except Minnie and Daisy. I do like Donald though, so I will get him. Also, are Peter's accessories the double silver daggers or the single gold one? The pictures are contrasting. Genie is still the biggest disappointment of this though..I'll be getting Aladdin but idk about him.

daisy looks funny without a skirt, but i guess she doesnt usually wear one anyway. pleased she and minnie got proper bows and not the flat friends ones i was afraid they would end up with.

in the outside photos, especially this one http://cdn.collider.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/03/lego-disney-minifigures.jpg , aladdins chest looks a different shade to his arms and head. hopefully its not too obvious in person.

everything else looks good and will be a one of each buy for sure. stitch i will likely give a frog, since he has dealings with one in the movie.

These are fantastic! I thought people's opinions would change when official photos came out.

The only thing I have with this is, what's with Syndrome's eyes? It's not that I don't like them, they just aren't in LEGO's style which is kinda wierd.

Overall, an amazing series, even Buzz looks worthwhile now even though I have the original, because of all that new printing!

Still missing Goofy though :cry_sad:

The high-res rendering of the individual figure shows the foot / boot color doesn't extend to the inside part (between the two feet), so it must indeed be printing and not molding.

A friend of mine complained about the CMF 15 Ballerina because the he said the torso looked wrong with the flesh printing on the white torso. I said it wasn't that big of a deal, and couldn't see why he would be that bothered by it. But yeah, Ursula definitely looks....off. Maybe it's the higher contrast between black and lavender than yellow and white, but that stands out to me quite a bit. Still not too big a deal, not going to make-or-break my purchase (still undecided on Ursula), but I didn't expect it to stand out to me that much.

I'm unsurprised that everything looks nicer in HD. Seemed par for the course. Mickey, Minnie, Donald, and Daisy are all still too tall, especially since their molded heads make them taller already. IMO, they shouldn't be the tallest of the bunch, unless they are "supposed" to be representing real people in costumes, but that isn't the case here. I'm conflicted on these (still) since I know I'll never get them exactly as I want them, but I would probably like to have them.

Pan, Hook, Genie, Aladdin, Alice, Cheshire, Maleficent - still awesome! ( Except, yes, I also noticed that Aladdin's chest printing seemed a bit too light compared to his arms...)

The lack of accessories is disappointing. Someone mentioned that they don't seem necessary, and I can agree with that, but the lack of pieces is still, you know, disappointing. Love the new skirts, though.

They all look pretty great! I'll be getting some for future projects. Dual colored short legs is new, but cool idea.

Yep, me too! Most of those are excellent, I just can't help myself but Mickey looks so off to me because of the loooong black torso. He has his pants pulled right under his arms normally so this plain black just enlongens him. I will surely get a full set though.
