It does seem to be the standard convention here on EB to insert "collectible" (or a variant spelling thereof) in front of (capital-M) Minifigures, as though that were the official terminology, so as much as it grates, I do see the point. It's kind of bizarre, though, that there's a whole LEGO product class for which it's discouraged, even practically forbidden, to refer to it here by its actual, official name.

(For anyone wondering what I'm talking about, the word "collectible" isn't actually part of the name of what usually gets referred to around here as "Collectible Minifigures" or "CMFs". They're officially just "Minifigures". I personally dislike using the word "collectible" with them, partly because so many people seem to think it's part of the official name when it isn't, but mainly because so many seem to mistakenly take the word "collectible" to mean "limited edition" or something like that, and then take umbrage when so-called CMFs or CMF parts turn up in seasonal sets, brick calendars, Build-a-Minifigure kiosks, etc. But it's true even TLG itself has occasionally used the word in conjunction with the line. I just tend to regard it as the adjective it is, not as part of the name.)

Lego often use collectible rather than Collectible. As in, collectible Minifigure Series or Series 15 Minifigure collectibles.

The same thing is done on bricklink too, the category is title Collectible Minifigures.

These probably ARE knockoffs. Peter's got golden knives, Maleficent is missing her cape and Buzz and Syndrome look horrible.

I think they are real

Hispabrick got a copy of the Maze from TLG to review it

It seems they got a box of these as well

He has golden knives. It seems the CGI is wrong

There is no way these are fake. Syndromes hair color does look off to me, but that's it. Even if these *somehow* are fake, they might as well be real because they look exactly like this.

I'd say the knock-off look is because of the terrible lighting. That's giving everything a weird color and texture. It also doesn't help that some of these character designs aren't very Lego and so they don't look too real even in the official pictures (Incredible and Syndromes eyes seem very off for the Lego style).

Why them and not WF? WF is the Minifig Review guy..

Better question: Why didn't they take pictures of the side we haven't seen???

Seriously I'm anxious to see what these look like from literally any other angle. It would also be nice to find out if there's any alt faces.

Yup I would bet on the mouses and the ducks.

WF's review will be out soon I assume

Let's wait to see it, so we can conclude if these are real or not

But I'm like 99% sure these are real

I've never seen leaked stuff posted on Hispabrick

Wondering why hispabrick only took a straight, full on shot without other angles.

A bit of a rush to get it out I presume.

Would have loved to see how they managed/did not manage to capture the tail tuft with a print

Assuming the shirt would be higher at the back leaving enough space for a decent print.

On another note, they seemed to have given accessories only to those figs with normal fig heads (with the exception of Buzz), though the choices of accessories for some of them are poor (Looking at the Incredibles duo, Aladdin and Ariel)

I wonder if genie would look better if you just gave him the ponytail piece that white tiger/ninjago genie have. The ears really aren't necessary and detract from the fig

Nah, that's too big.
